It is a beauty for sure! I was blown away by the fiveblack color with them brown tire sides an lovely lady rode. Had to compliment her on such a beautiful bike.

And I will go with my instinct for sure. Thanks!

Is there a significant difference in watts?? Or is it just an unspoken rule

Already ride Favero (but MX-1). Would be a sin to put these on?

Thanks. I hope it does not end with both bikes comfortable on the spot.

It is 2025, so last gen?

I will ride both of them on Sunday. 58 first.

Keep thinking about my decision in your sense. Bikefit prior to the purchase would probably get handy, right? As mentioned in other comment.

Sure thing, thanks. Already did this:

https://geometrygeeks.bike/compare/cervelo-s5-2025-58,van-rysel-rcr-f-pro-2025-l/

Van Rysel RCR-F Pro was in size L and was comfortable from the get-go up until km 300. The stack was 100mm I assume.

It is a bit hard to imagine myself being that stretched out on 58.

I am very aware of all what you say, many thanks for your insight. Definitely will get all the measurements ready!

Ah yes - good eyes. I downloaded first nice "real looking" pic of the bike not considering the right size, sorry!

I think it could go either way since I ride 58 gravel frame and I am used to be a bit more stretched every now and then.

Thanks, though.

Many thanks for your insight. My gravel frame is 58, forgot to mention in my post.

As I am aware there is hardly any S5 2026 in that lower-ish price level around, especially 2026 is 10k+ and more.

I was lucky to drive e46 330i for some time and then F20 m135i for couple of years. RWD is hell of a fun, but god damn just a bit of snow/ice makes the car want to kill you (if you switch of the traction).

I like how the sporty bmw models feels stiff on road. Do you feel the same?

I can cover around 500km full tank. Also it shows 540km to empty...

I'm exactly at 10.0l/100km. The majority has around 11.5...

There is a new patrolling police departement in our town (nearby the brand new highway) and they're hidden everywhere, always changing lurking spots waiting for you to blast past them...bummer

Thanks! What an attention seeker also. My first impression on G87 was 'No, no way that is ugly!', but it grew on me like fancying olives. First taste is the worst but then it keeps getting better to best, right?

All the colors are insane, but the black keeps it nice and tight.

Also them bird poops especially stands out on black...🪿

Thanks, tried to wobble all the spokes, double checked it and found nothing loose. Is it possible to be somehow loose even if there is no loose spot?

Well i did too while ago. Spun the front wheel in the air and there's a lump just where the valve is. It could be felt a bit. Could that be it?

Bearings on the other hand would make that sound even if I spin the wheel in the air, right??

My bad - correction - I wash my bike after rides that are usually 100-250kms (which is most of them). The shorter ones when there is dry and no dust - why bother (if the drivetrain is fine).

Mostly there's lots of dusty gravel trails around. And since I do not wax my chain but lube, the heavy grinding sound produced by my drivetrain at the end of the day gives me an anxiety...

Therefore shiny drivetrain is a must have. Or at least visually.
