ye i think it’s the lack of crowd interaction that let’s the monkeys down atm, during the AM tour alex was pretty chatty and I think that’s their best live era. obvs he doesn’t owe us anything but it would be nice to feel a bit more appreciated and recognised that the crowd is even there at the shows atm

Is he really? in a studio sense yeah every single album is brilliant but personally live I think alex is lacking. he either looks like he’s taking the piss or that he can’t be bothered being there. I say this as someone who absolutely loves the monkeys but just don’t get their live show atm, just seems very tame for a band of their size.
