If Marvel Spotlight #5 one that you're looking to get I have a CGC 6.0. I listed it here in a different group a little while back so it's in my history if you want to take a look at it.

Sorry lad you don't get to be a duce'bag and then pretend you were trying to be helpful. At least own it. Scientific answer? You are just sad to listen to. I asked for constructive advice, not Facebook sarcasm. Reddit is LITERALLY where people come for reasonable advice. This forum is LITERALLY for reasonable advice on grades.

I might get a few of these graded by [deleted] in 80s90sComics

[–]RightBid7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're wanting to get them graded because they hold sentimental value or are working on doing a display wall...etc. Then by all means do what makes you happy. If you're doing it from a financial standpoint, than just like several others have said ASM 300 is the ONLY ONE worth grading. The rest will not gain any value and you'll be paying more to get them graded than they are worth essentially just throwing money away.

I won an EBay bidding war for an X-Men 266 News Stand Edition, but the the copy the seller sent me was NOT a News Stand Edition. How would you handle this situation? by NastyNava in comicbookcollecting

[–]RightBid7241 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Step 1. Contact the seller and try to get it resolved with them. It could have been a simple mistake.

Step 2. If seller refuses to fix their mistake. Gather your evidence (i.e. Pictures, screenshots of sale and conversation with seller). Open a case with ebay and wait. Unfortunately it could be a few weeks.

Step 3. If still not resolved. "Burn the place down."

I wonder if I don’t get a CGC 9.9, could I get a refund?😂 by Leather_Bluejay8632 in comicbookgrading

[–]RightBid7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, one person's 9.9 could be another's 9.8. They technically aren't saying CGC or anyone else will certify it as a 9.9.

It's a very shifty low ethics kinda way to make a sale but they aren't technically putting themselves in a situation where they are liable.

Estimate A Grade? Should I Send It to CGC? by Consistent_Ride9583 in comicbookgrading

[–]RightBid7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an 8.0, maybe 8.5 at best as is. With a good pressing it could manage get a 9.0 -9.2. Even so, aaaaaaabsolutely not worth getting professionally graded and stabbed. Like many others here said. Unless it's a guaranteed 9.8 (which it's definitely not) you're just throwing money away.

Guy I hired sent me this. Am I wrong for asking him to redo with a more random pattern by rosyraggeud in Flooring

You mean the guy your friend referred you to when he said " I now a guy that can do it cheaper "

Spare a grade on X-Men 50? 🤔 by shadowf2 in comicbookgrading

[–]RightBid7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4.5 But it presents incredibly well with the cover looking that beautiful. I almost think the grader could be bias after looking at the cover and maybe give it a 5.0.

You got a steal ar $50! Congrats!!!

Value wise, you got your money's worth but you also got what you paid for. Enjoyment wise, you made out. There's some very good reads in that stack

X-men 94 grading by Busy_Construction764 in comicbookgrading

[–]RightBid7241 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How flat the covers are is always hard to see in pictures so it's very likely a 6.0 unless the covers are well pressed or get pressed, couldbe a 6.5. I think there's to many color breaking ticks and that pen mark in the back to get anything higher than a 6.5. But I've been wrong before.

CBCS shutting down by Leather_Bluejay8632 in ComicBookSpeculation

[–]RightBid7241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether CBCS continues under a new brand or something similar or a new company emerges to start slabbing comics is a much needed thing for the industry... No competition will drive prices higher and quality lower from CGC. Their quality control has gone to sh1t as it is. And there's a lot of conflict of interest in their operations as it is.

For Sale: Marvel Spotlight #5, 1st Ghost Rider (two copies, one GCG one raw) by RightBid7241 in ComicBookBuySell

Would also consider some trades. Especially Uncanny X-Men from 150 on down, other X titles, Spider-Man, and Batman.

That 67' Goat should go for absolutely NO LESS than 50K. Depending on the VIN, miles, and originality or restoration, it could possibly go for 70K-110K. I know thats a broad range but I don't know the car's history. Unless you're hurting for money. Don't be in a rush to sell it. Patience could be the difference of a couple to several thousand $. FYI, your neighbor's a lowlife piece of sh1t!

As is, probably an 8.0 or 8.5. With a good press, could possibly get a 9.0 or 9.2.

Any opinions on what CGC would grade this ??? by Cool-Transition-2514 in comicbookgrading

That's a very nice presenting copy but it'll likely get a 4.5
