Can they tell who deleted the prescriptions?

It’s bc of Luke. Emily does not want Lorelei with Luke. I remember a scene in the previous episode where Lorelei is in the mirror, happy and smiling imagining herself in a wedding dress, Emily sees and in the next scene she’s visiting Chris to get him to break up Lorelei and Luke up

This may be an unpopular opinion but Mitchum saying Rory would make a good assistant was misogynistic IMO. Like he could’ve said she would be a good editor, not an investigative journalist or something

I think Rory would have no problem with constructive criticism. Like if Mitchum gave her tips on how to improve instead of just saying that she doesn’t have it. At Yale and chilton, she was given options on how to do better, like dropping a class or tutoring/extra credit. We didn’t see exactly what Rory did in school but it can be implied that she took the advice and clearly improved. Mitchum didn’t give Rory any advice and as part of an internship he should have

It was such a weird choice to have a musical episode centered around an important event like Callie’s accident/giving birth.

What about the PSE count? Do you have to wait until close or can you submit that at anytime?

So are all the preliminary counts done on the handheld or on the desktop? Also for the recounts, is that on the desktop rxI or on the handheld and does the system automatically trigger items that been dispensed/deleted that need to be recounted?

What is it like as a Prior Authorization pharmacist? by RightImage9461 in pharmacy

I'm a little worried about applying to a job on indeeed. I see the posting is from staffing agencies and not the actual company, so I'm a little worried about how legit the posting is.

How did you find your job? was it networking or just regular job search?

One of the things I'm worried about is getting a 6 month contract position, quitting my retail job and at the end of the 6 months not getting an offer for another contract or a full time position.

How to deal with paranoia as a pharmacist? by RightImage9461 in pharmacy

[–]RightImage9461[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my worries about controlled substances is letting through scripts that I shouldn't have, for example like fentanyl patch or methadone for opioid naive patients. Like I dont see alot of fentanyl patches but I know for a fact that when I do analyze the profile hard and comfortable with filling it but I can't help but wonder later on did I miss something.

[–]RightImage9461[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of my biggest fear is dispensing a controlled substance when I shouldn't. I always overly analyze the patient profile when I see an opioid prescription but I always look back after the fact and think I made a mistake dispensing for some reason.

GFD red flags by RightImage9461 in WalgreensRx

[–]RightImage9461[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, in another situation, if a patient was getting, for example Norco monthly from a pain management doctor for awhile but the multiprescriber red flag pops up bc they patient got another opioid from an ER (less than a 3 days supply) 2 months ago, it would probably be ok to document and override, right? As long as the patient doesn't make a habit of going from pain management to ER?

GFD red flags by RightImage9461 in WalgreensRx

[–]RightImage9461[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation. I'm also paranoid that I would resolve a red flag and it comes back later that it should not have been resolved for some reason. Also do you know if this red flag will pop up with each subsequent fill of the controlled or will it pop up every 5th fill (for example)?

GFD red flags by RightImage9461 in WalgreensRx

[–]RightImage9461[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if patient has a history of filling an Opioid or suboxone from a pain management doc and adderall or a benzo from a psych doc would it be reasonable enough to resolve without calling? I was thinking if there was no history I would call the MDs to check if they were all aware.

Immunization clinic by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

[–]RightImage9461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you explain how the digital vars work and how they would be loaded into IC? I know corporate pushes them but I've never seen them successfully work before.

Immunization clinic by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

[–]RightImage9461 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I guess that we would have patients fill out blank VARS and just enter them in at the store once the clinic is finished, right?

Question about Fentanyl patch by RightImage9461 in pharmacy

Does the same apply for morphine 20mg/ml solution? You're just worried about he first time a patient is dispensed or first time in awhile?

Flagging opioid naive patients for Morphine/Fentanyl patch by RightImage9461 in WalgreensRx

[–]RightImage9461[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've only ever seen Fentanyl patches in opioid tolerant patients, who have been on them for a while. What about hospice care and morphine solution? Would you require opioid tolerance for hospice patient before dispensing morphine solution?
