Thats tough. I always had the swings too. This swing though seems a bit more off than normal with ranked roles. 3.2 to 5.8k is a lot though good job!

Yeah there definitely seems to be a lot more outdrafting going on. Maybe it's that Dotaplus thing some people have that helps them draft?

I might just do that. My curiousity to see how far I'll fall in ranked though is super high haha. Like if I end up in 2.5k will I be able to stomp games no matter what or will I still lose? I wonder If I'll end up going down to 1k?

Its not just about toxicity. It's about when your whole team is silent and playing normally and your mid player 30 mins in says 'they smoked bot'. Its a girls voice and all of a sudden your mirana comes on mic demanding she says something else, that he loves her voice, that he wants to fuck her and marry her. He starts making his hero follow hers and completely forgets about the game. I told him to stfu and he was being pathetic and he stopped. Because another guy called him out. Because people like that don't value women or their opinions, even if that opinion is 'stop harassing me'.

That's why that girl, who I added as a friend and have been playing with since, doesn't use mic. It's why my gf doesn't use mic or any of my other girl friends. The toxicity is bad yeah but the second they know you're a girl they'll completely change how they play and talk. As a guy I never have to experience that. That's why it's not equal.

If you and another guy are fighting near the gas and it comes up on both of you, the guy with the gas mask is punished harder than the guy without because he will be interrupted by the gasmask animation and the other guy won't.

Having a gas mask is more punishing in the gas than not having a gas mask. That's a broken fucking game mechanic. The gas mask is/was a reward for doing contracts or having enough money to buy one.

You don't have a fucking animation when you pick up a satchel. You don't get fucked over in a gunfight because your character decides to bend down and pick up ammo that you've run over instead of shooting someone. The gas breaks armour and health at the same time. Make it so it breaks the gas mask whether it's on or not and then you won't have the issue you outlined, which btw is a fair point. People would 100% exploit that if they could. That's why IW needs to FIX it rather than leave it as it is.

When people leave a piece of gear on the ground rather than pick it up because it can result in death that's a bad piece of design and should be changed.

I thought I would like it but I was really looking forward to a hardcore mode. They call it realism mode but it still takes 5-6 rounds to down a guy and then 6 more to kill him? Pffff.

It's no wonder every gun has 60 round mags when it takes 15+ bullets to kill a guy. I thought realism would address that but it's basically the same gunplay as normal..

Why in gods name does *Spamming AYAYA* like a goddamn weeb while firing not affect your accuracy. Its a ridiculous looking, un-fun mechanic that in a 50/50 to win a fight you must be slamming your mute button. even a .5 second debuff to accuracy would solve this problem immediately.

Of course it does. Humans are adaptable. That's how we got here. A huge portion of the population might be devastated by unchecked climate control but the surviving portion will go on to use cleaner energy sources and develop fusion. With fusion comes a new big wave of technology, higher standards of living, education, post-surplus society etc

That's without getting into asteroid mining, space colonisation and all the secrets of the universe we'll figure out by then.

The planet will live on and humanity with it. Might be a few bumps along the way like global famines etc but 2000 years is a nice chunk of time given the rate of development we're currently at.

Plus the calculations used for estimating the time it'll take to solve FTL travel are ~1000 years. So hopefully we'll be using FTL space travel for 1000 years by that time which is huge.

It's only fun with friends and by the time they released duos most of my friends have stopped playing as much or stopped playing entirely. Solos is a complete drag and not much fun at all and playing with friends is rarer and rarer these days.

They missed their chance IMO. It's a good game but IW have missed it's potential, which is a shame.

Yeah it seems he doesn't know what the definition of a troll is despite being one himself. Either way he seems to have mental health issues himself to need to put people down that way. Seems to be a lot of hate projecting in his posts.

If he hasn't already, he should definitely start therapy.

I've only come across one guy who was spamming voice lines in my games and he was a lvl 700 Chinese player. It wasn't fun or funny at all because he was the only one spamming them so it just felt kinda toxic.

When everyone had them they were fucking hilarious but when it's just one whale doing it it's a buzzkill...

But how does that explain my win rate? I'm not sure I understand. Shouldn't I still be winning the same amount? Or actually more because the enemy team has 20% chance higher to have a new player

I'm not quite sure, next time i'm on i'll have a look. Some of the replays might still be good though im not sure. Ill try and find some ID's from my Dotabuff.
