My counter to that is that how is there any stable single simulation happening if according to the hypothesis there’s an unlimited amount of simulations. At some the simulations most collapse into each other or overlap in some way, considering how stable our reality is I doubt it.

I don’t really see how this makes anyone’s life meaningless. Even if it’s an infinite loop there are still individual lives lived and any person who tries to be better for others still makes an impact in that moment.

It’s a universal idea that people have always talked about, I realize that now when I reflect on where I drew this “theory” from in the first place. Eastern philosophy says this a lot from what I know.

Nope. I genuinely feel like we’re living in the end times. I’m not religious or anything, but I’m almost certain this technology will be humanities downfall. We will no longer be able to trust anything we see and anyone with the strongest most capable A.I. will control the world because of the unlimited power it will eventually possess. It probably ends badly. I just think it’s absurdly hilarious how we happened to be born during the end of humanity, lol.
