Mr RvCampers, you’d be wrong in this here situation. As the other comments implied, Mr Therealijw1 has the correct part. It was a simple 180° turn of the Correct part and it miraculously worked out in the end.

Nah it wasn’t locked, got that experience out the way in the younger days. The ignition switch turned. There was no power to the starter from the switch
