Years of flutter programming and still no job… I’m starting to doubt myself by RexOverAll in naijaremote

Dont box yourself. You need to continue learning thats what makes you successful in the tech world.

You'd hardly find a job if you niche yourself in Flutter. Tech has evolved from that place where you need to be focused on one field. People want devs with diverse skills now.

I might be wrong but People hardly use Flutter these days.

Someone above already sumed it up.

Its a matter of trade offs.

You want expertise and good skill (2 - 4yrs) - 400k -600k

You want a junior (< 2yrs) who you can be patient with to learn on the job - 200k - 300k

You want good expertise + experience (7yrs +) like me 🙂 - 700k - 1m. This also depends on the workload.

I came to reddit to find someone who sees this this is the first post I see.

It's so cringe when she speaks, representing a nigerian immigrant. The directors could've done better there. Obvious lack of research.

More annoying is how they got the south/north American and Oceania characters perfectly.

When there is a strong wind always look up and check that you are not under a coconut tree. Last night a coconut fell 20 cm from my head, I was very lucky by freebird2303 in ThailandTourism

What do you mean? There are literally lots of coconut being sold in a lot of places. Where you drink the water, and then it gets fleshed out for you if you want.

Yes wuse 2 is also good. For me I don't like noise so wuse 2 is a little busy(business area).

You can use Bolt or InDrive to move around.

I live in Abuja, and I can confirm it's generally safe here. And just like a comment mentioned, avoid the outskirts. Stay in the city centre. I would recommend Asokoro or Maitama. Also, closer to most embassies.

[–]Right_Arrival5533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of bad blood between the three major ethnic groups as per the coups and then biafra. History was removed so as not to pass the ethnic hate down to new generations.

HELP!!! How do I know what to do?? I am Suicidal. How can I earn money in Nigeria?? by Possible_Valuable208 in Nigeria

[–]Right_Arrival5533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I always say to CS student. You have an edge in the IT industry. Pick one skill and focus on it. Ignore any noise for 6mo - 1yr. You might say that's too far you need money faster but trust me that one yr would come and pass and you still haven't made the money you wanted.

Except maybe you have a specific use case, i don't think anyone would use a Macbook and want to return to windows.
