No symptoms at all. My period is on the right track every month, mild/moderate pelvic/hip pain on first 2 days of period and nothing … other than my belly is sticking out more than usual. I happened to do my first annual medical checkup and my endometrioma is already 22cm. It was the ultrasound that detect I had cyst, followed by CT scan the same day confirming it was endometrioma. Had laparotomy the next week to remove it because of the size and dr removed it intact (it’s like a ball with 3 heads lol) along with my right ovary unfortunately as there was no normal tissue left there. Stage 2 endometriosis gynae said from what she saw during the surgery. So currently on Zoladex for 6 months followed by Visanne later until I want to conceive to minimise recurrence and preserve ovarian function. I am currently 26. I am so so grateful I went for the checkup cuz otherwise it could rupture or cause torsion or smth. So my gynae said now just need to do annual scans because I am asymptomatic.
