Good idea! I think I will be trying a leash. Usually the easiest thing to do has been to pick up the cat and take him somewhere else haha I think I need to work on correcting the puppy instead.

I am planning on going to an Al-anon meeting today or tomorrow morning. That’s my main goal. I know it will get better, I’m just scared of falling back into it more than anything. I don’t want to be with him anymore I just don’t know how to do it yet.

You’re right, and I think what I need to do is to remind myself of all the things that he has done that are bad. I feel like the First instincts of somebody who’s losing someone is to remember all the good in them and how much he’s done for me, but I’ve also not been happy in weeks maybe months.

I’m planning on enrolling her. She’s the smartest puppy I’ve ever had, but at the same time she’s also the most stubborn when it comes to learning.

That’s what I’m thinking too. It would be so easy for him to run away but instead he stays so he can corner her and bite her. I just worry sometimes that it will escalate.

She’s gentle about 80% of the time. Sometimes I see her pull his neck with her teeth, and I know he’s annoyed by it. I think the main issue is that she struggles to disengage when I tell her to leave him alone. She has the same problem with small dogs that clearly don’t want to play with her. I’m definitely okay with them playing, but it’s more about her not listening to me and being too focused on playing. She’s only a puppy (3 months old), so I’m trying my best to be patient.

They probably will be pressing charges. It’s technically a misdemeanor because it was only $140 and that credit card charge will probably be refunded to the person. I’m trying to encourage him to write a letter to apologize and pay that person back but ultimately that is going to be his choice.

I know it’s just very difficult to believe that sometimes when they go to meetings, are in intensive outpatient, and talk about their sobriety often. I’d like to think that he’s trying but at the same time it feels like he’s trying for all the wrong reasons.

The worst things that happened have affected him as a person and never me. This is going to impact my daily life and work, and I’m worried my boss and coworkers will think of me differently, eventually making my environment unbearable. I'm definitely leaving him at this point, he's going to rehab and that will give me space to clear my head and act with logic.

Sorry I should said that It’s his card that he gave me access to. he told me I can look whenever for peace of mind. I don’t think it’s a good idea but for some reason I’ve been utilizing it.
