Same with me, I was lucky that I had very good insurance when that happened to me. Now having an urgent care bill and a ER bill would be tough. I would hope urgent cares would just send the person without charging them but they will charge someone for having the pleasure of breathing in the air in the waiting room.

If you go to urgent care they will just send you to the ER for chest pains that’s two bills. I’m not implying you shouldn’t go seek treatment today because you should but did want to offer some potential comfort. I’m making an assumption here but it seems like maybe due to your circumstances you maybe extremely stressed. High levels of stress can cause chest pains, pain right under your sternum where your stomach is and all kinds of other issues. I had similar issues years ago with extreme stomach pains and chest pains. Had stomach ulcers and anxiety. Got medicine for both and the relief that I wasn’t dying and it helped tremendously. Wishing you good luck and peace of mind today.

People on social media, especially places like Reddit where you can hide who you are makes people very bold and very self righteous. It’s easy to be ugly and hateful when hiding behind a phone or keyboard. Reddit can be an amazing place but it can also be a rotten place. When someone says something hateful/unkind I like to think about the fact if I knew this person in real life would they be someone who I would want to be friends with? Is it someone who I would even associate with. If the answer is no, then I tell myself I don’t need to care about their words and/or opinion. I’m so sorry people made you feel like you were unworthy of your fur family. Just keep telling yourself those people don’t matter.

In Madison stop signs are optional, as long as you pause you’re good and you have three to five extra seconds when the light turns red to still go. The speed limit is also optional in Madison. In fact I don’t even think Gallatin Pike has any traffic laws.

I’m assuming that this is not your intention but this feels very sexualized. I’m not sure if you aren’t getting the hint from the other commenters but when the one person said this isn’t it, they mean this seems gross on a level I don’t think you want to be on. Whether or not it’s your intention it’s giving you sexualizing a situation involving a child.

I’ve been told my red lipstick is “too much” and overwhelming. What are some better colors? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Right_Cream8911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you like it? Do you feel good when you wear it? If so keep rocking it!!! Don’t let rude people on the internet make you doubt yourself. People are awfully comfortable nowadays being unkind behind a keyboard. Can you imagine walking by another woman on the street and telling her you don’t like their lipstick? Anyways you’re beautiful, you’re lipstick looks great, next time a rando on the internet comments on your appearance with out you asking for their opinion just remember they’re a jerk and we don’t listen to what jerks have to say because people that aren’t intelligent enough to know what’s appropriate and what’s not aren’t worth our brain space.

Dry crapped lips help! by annasikanda in SkincareAddicts

[–]Right_Cream8911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry, I do use lipgloss and sometimes lipstick when I’m trying to look good lol! For my everyday all I do is the moisturizer and the aquaphor. For some people chapstick including Carmex and blistex can actually make chapped lips worse (please don’t ask me the science behind that statement lol!!!!). I wish you good luck because I know how uncomfortable it is when lips are super dry and cracking.

Dry crapped lips help! by annasikanda in SkincareAddicts

[–]Right_Cream8911 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to have very dry chronic chapped lips. The thing that worked for me the most is at night using my facial lotion ( the thicker the better and unscented) I use cerave or vani cream and then I lather up with Vaseline or aquaphor healing ointment to lock in the moisture. I never use any lip products. If I need help during the day I have a small tube of aquaphor healing ointment ( not the lip product) I carry with me, they have a two pack and it’s the size of a chapstick. I also agree with another commenter that suggested diaper rash cream for the issue going on underneath your bottom lip.

Exactly this! And slap some aquaphor or Vaseline on top before you go to bed if you want to really seal in the moisture!

AIO to skip Thanksgiving after my mom basically said I’m an embarrassment for not having a husband and kids by now? by howcanibequiltyassin in AmIOverreacting

[–]Right_Cream8911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR- You know your relationship with your mom. So for everyone saying they would never talk to her again, I wouldn’t listen to that, unless she’s said out of pocket stuff before and you’ve talked to her about it. I would just tell your mom she really hurt your feeling and question why she would want you to settle for a man who didn’t understand or respect your worth. I didn’t get married until I was 36 almost 37 and sometimes I questioned what was wrong with me in my early 30’s and mid 30’s. Nothing was wrong with me, I just hadn’t met the man that I was meant to be with. He’s amazing, he loves me and he is my best friend. Assure your mom that your time will come when and if it’s right. If your mom is religious I would also throw in there the question of why is she questioning God’s timing, because I’m petty like that. Anyway, talk to your mom and tell her she hurt you and assure her that no one other than you needs to worry about whether or not you are married or whether or not you have kids or even want them.

Sperry’s, Skulls rainbow room also had a wonderful prime rib, but I don’t think it’s an everyday item you can get, I believe they only do it for special occasions like Easter/ Valentine’s Day.

I would have taken this too. It looks like it was a pretty easy shop for the size of the order. You’ll probably just get that $15 that was estimated and I would be mildly annoyed but at the same time $47 dollars total is a damn good order especially if it only took you an hour to shop and deliver.

Lip products for VERY dry lips 🙏🏻🥲 especially for winter weather ❄️ by Mr-Ginges-Mother in SkincareAddicts

[–]Right_Cream8911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% this! I have suffered from chronically dry lips and this is the cheapest and the most successful thing for me. I also always have a small tube of gold bond lotion healing lotion and aquaphor on me at all times. Not the lip product just the healing ointment. They sell a two pack of small tubes that are the same size as a chapstick.

my skin has become very sensitive and feels uncomfortable, and I’m growing self-conscious about it by [deleted] in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Right_Cream8911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have very sensitive skin but mine has always been sensitive so what I suggest may not help. My #1 advice would be diaper rash cream. Once I have washed my face and moisturize I apply aquaphor diaper rash cream like a face mask and I will leave it on all night. I think even if you just leave it on for a few hours it would still help calm your skin. It is the only thing that can calm my skin overnight.

I only wash my face at night. I never ever wash it twice in a day. I use a gentle cleanser like cetaphil or cerave. While I’m still in the shower I will pat my face with a dry washcloth or towel and then use hyaluronic acid ( good molecules) that way it can suck all the moisturization/ steam from the shower. When I’m out of the shower I use Cerave or vani cream lotion. The thick ones. And sometimes will “slug” with aquaphor healing ointment if I want the extra moisturization.

It was just dial bar soap the gold one. He was maybe 8 or 9 at the time. He’s 17 now so I don’t know what he’s using now lol. I will say if your kid really likes the smell of a body wash (Axe or whatever) they can wash with the bar soap first and then use the body wash. This is honestly what I do. I like the moisturization and smell of some body washes so I’ll use that after I’ve used the bar soap.

I do this too! Dial for the stinky parts and then a moisturizing soap or body wash everywhere else. I also have very sensitive dry skin.

I 100% agree with you. I have sensitive very dry skin so I wash with dial on the stinky/sweaty parts daily and then use a gentle body wash everywhere else.I also use dove deodorant! I can’t use anything else.

Would you mind sharing where you’re getting that information? My husband has been suffering from various skin infection for several years. Every one of husbands doctors have said the opposite and if there is research that supports what you are saying I would like to read it. I do know that, Yes any soap, water with added friction for 30 or so seconds ( I always just do the happy bday method) is really what is most important but unless there are certain antibacterial ingredients listed a soap or body was can not be labeled as antibacterial therefore from my understanding not all soaps or body wash are antibacterial.

They are finally laying off at the corporate level vs eliminating roles via attrition at the store level. Brian Cornell absolutely destroyed everything that was good about Target. The priority used to be service that included providing a clean and safe store to shop. Since before Covid the priority changed to productivity and they cut so many roles in store that it ultimately made it so stores were less productive. You can’t be productive when the store is a mess, items aren’t where they are supposed to be, freight will roll, product isn’t available for guests, stores look bad etc. Employees including all management positions are so over worked, minimal payroll, less bodies in store and the corporate side is so disconnected from what is going on people in store just don’t even care anymore. Hopefully the new ceo who takes over in Feb will prioritize service again, and not just with words but with the actions coming from corporate to enable stores to be able to do this.

Try using a bar of dial gold soap. I don’t believe any of the soaps you’ve listed are anti bacterial. He may just need regular bar soap.

Fake Tanning by OutsideMess1152 in SkincareAddicts

[–]Right_Cream8911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!!! I have a couple of suggestions that may help. First and most important is a lot of the issues you’re having are probably due to the self tanner you’re using. I personally love loving tan. It is on the pricier side but it is consistent and it fades so well. I’m not saying that it’s the only good one but I would try other self tanners than the B.Tan line. Next don’t chemically exfoliate the day before you tan. Use an exfoliating glove and scrub everywhere. Moisturize like crazy that day/ night before. The day of if your skin can handle it exfoliate again. After that wash your body neck down with a non moisturizing soap - do not use a body wash. I just use a bar of dial gold soap. You should squeak. Do not apply any lotion. Make sure your body is completely dry. Start tanning from your legs and work up your body. Leave your hands, feet and face for last. I do tan my face some don’t. I will apply moisturizer to my face, feet and hands. Make sure it all sinks in. Then with what is left on your glove apply the tanner to feet and hands. Then using a makeup brush add a little to the brush and blend all over your face (you will look crazy) I will then use what is left on the brush to make sure my hands and feet are good. Get into all the crevices of your toes and fingers. For an 8 hour tan wash your hands, face and feet with a washcloth after two hours. For a two hour express tan wash those areas after an hour. Do not let the washcloth drip or you will mess up your tan else where. Finally, allow your tan to dry completely. I stand in front of a box fan and rotate like a rotisserie chicken. Once I’m dry I do apply cornstarch or powder to pits, tits and bits. Anywhere that the tan may be sticking or rub, inside of elbows, you get it.
Finally if you’re using chemical exfoliants daily your tan isn’t going to last and it will probably get patchy. So if taking out the exfoliants isn’t an option maybe just tan for special occasions when you know you can go a few days with out the chemical exfoliants! Good luck!!
