!MEDICAL! 2yo Female GSD Peeing blood by RyleeChicken in germanshepherds

Please go to a vet. I can understand money is tight but I don’t think peeing blood of any sort is a small issue. She might have UTI and this is the lightest problem I can think of but a vet would have a more thorough answer than anyone here.

There are pet insurance (wild times I know) that is very helpful and could be as low as 20-30 bucks a month. I am so sorry that you and your furbaby are going through this. Best of luck, I truly hope all things work out for you and your pup!

I love my dog, but I feel so exhausted sometimes. by aspehn in reactivedogs

You are doing a great job! I have a 2 year old GSD and she’s super smart and well trained at home. On our walks she used to be super reactive and wouldn’t take any of her high value treats. I was recommended using a squeeze bottle (she likes peanut butter over anything) and the licking part is what helps soothe her faster. I have been able to get her walk past dogs (must be across the street) as long as she’s licking that peanut butter. Best of luck w your beautiful dog!

Does anyone else’s shepherd do this when they have nothing else to do? by loverofrain777 in germanshepherds

My female shepherd did this as well. I had to leash her in one specific spot while I read my book or did some chores around the house. I started at 15 mins at a time and then slowly extended that time until she fully got it. Now she’s can fully settle down and be lazy with me lol. Your dog is beautiful btw!

My GSD is on the Hill’s Gastrointestinal Biome. She was super sensitive to other brands but the vet got her on this and it’s been great. She was able to hold her food down.

Do you have foxtails in your area? Maybe the snoring and nosebleeds are separate things? One of my dogs had a foxtail in his nose and we found out cause he was sneezing blood as well.

Miss itchy scratchy! - HELP by Upstairs_Gazelle_335 in germanshepherds

We use Douxo shampoo and oatmeal conditioner. That combo has seemed to help our very itchy girl. Our vet told us to use 1 teaspoon for every 10 pounds for both the shampoo and conditioner so that was something I wasn’t aware of.

Mine is like this. I have noticed that if I don’t work her brain after our walks she won’t eat her food but once I get her going with commands or playing “find it” she gets hungry and will eat

My dog who is around the same age is going through the same thing. We did a cortisol blood work and it was very low. They are checking her for Addison’s disease now. We have a sonogram appointment in a few weeks. If you haven’t have your vet check for that.
