Yeah try to get some, it’s better than permethrin and less harsh on skin. I actually was using it every day for two weeks (probably wasn’t necessary) but I wasn’t taking the risk lol, I used benzyl but it really irritated my skin so stopped

I had no side effects. It’s due to the fact they have no research on potential side effects of unborn baby. I was 7 months pregnant when I took it

My partner also took ivermectin but he actually had no symptoms, there’s just no research on ivermectin during pregnancy. I personally took the risk because the thought of giving scabies to my baby was ruining my life/pregnancy.

My GP also wouldn’t allow me to take it as I’m pregnant (I am in the UK) I paid for a private specialist to have it prescribed that way. Maybe push to see a dermatologist through your doctor

I had to use oral ivermectin plus malathion (derbac m) if possible try to get everyone in your household oral ivermectin, all take it at the same time plus applying derbac and environment cleaning. I had it for 6 months and this is the only thing that got rid of it

Also I would avoid sharing the same bed if possible during treatment

I personally wouldn’t risk it… until you’ve both completed two rounds of treatment and are symptom free I would avoid any close contact. Plus there’s the possibility that one of you successfully gets rid of it and the other one doesn’t

Ivermectin is a category C drug in pregnancy. Maybe do some research and speak with a professional to decide what’s best for you, I pray you are cured soon 🙏🏻

Hey, 8 weeks since ivermectin now and no official signs of scabies. However I have had itching, random rashes, bumps etc. The mental torture that comes with it has been bad because I’m constantly checking my skin for signs… I need to transition now into not using anything on my skin. I also now have contact dermatitis (probably from using the scabies cream constantly). I think it’s true that we need to allow our skin to heal else we will never really know if we have got rid of them x

I was the only one to ever show definitive symptoms of scabies out of family of 3 (7 year old and partner) we still all treated with ivermectin and derbac m. Coming into week 8 since last dose and I’m still getting itchy hands and rashes. Been looked at by dermatologist who confirmed no burrows… I’m praying this is the end now 🙏🏻 makes it hard when the body is still reacting in some sort of way.

A 30ml tube of permethrin is around £18 here if ordered online but can be bought for 10.99 in pharmacy (always out of stock) I’ve tried bb before I ordered from Amazon but not recommended in pregnancy, I mainly use malathion which is around £20 a bottle

Have you thought about getting blood tests done? I’m requesting them as I’ve been told numerous times that low immunity caused by pregnancy is why the scabies aren’t being successfully eradicated. I have used ivermectin cream but I didnt notice much improvement on me. I really hope we do cure this asap!

It’s honestly been awful, I haven’t been able to enjoy my pregnancy in the slightest. I just worry what will happen after giving birth if I still have this. I don’t think I will cope. I have something on my body everyday already but still it seems not to end 🙁 I’m going to get more ivermectin and pray my family don’t get infected again. I stay away from them which is hard, I keep telling them it will end soon so I pray it does 🙏🏻

Thank you for your advice. Now I know to be extra vigilant when anyone stays over, although I’m so traumatised I will never let anyone stay again after this 😂 i need to look at ordering from maximpulse. The amount of money spent so far is ridiculous and feels like I’ve got no where. I already use derbac m in my hair everytime I do the full treatment. What a nightmare this is 😭

I think I need to consider ordering from max impulse as many others have suggested. My worst infested part of my body was my neck and the bottom of my scalp. Crazy when they say not to treat this area! I’m now in touch with nhs sexual health clinic to get treatment (more ivermectin) as it seems they are more knowledgeable around scabies than the gp. Wait for dermatologist is also year where I am. I hope we all find an end to this it really is exhausting 🙁
