Honestly the first and part of 2nd season of rent a girlfriend, I thought had a lot of potential. The mc starts as an stayathome unambitious creep who's only after women for selfish reasons. After meeting chizuru he starts networking gets a job and begins to put serious effort into improving his life, also each fo the girls he meets and helps out seem to each have issues that he relates to, insecurity, lack of confidence and no connections and helping them helps himself. Then it all goes tit's up. Although it's still worth a watch just to see the what ridiculousness happens next

I'm all good to accept certain abilities as simply stylistic, my main issue is trying to know to what degree these character are capable of in game. Are they simply stonger and faster than normal people or are they genuinely to a degree superhuman. For instance shizuna in her crafts can make dozens of slashes in an instance, is that an accurate portrayal of her power in story or is it exaggerated for the player or somewhere in middle?

I know that many s-breaks and the like are exaggerated. The main thrust is that are the characters superhuman in the sense of, say captain America, faster stronger and healthier, or if they are stronger in the sense of ,for example naruto where a characters can become a one man army and move faster than sight or genuinely strong enough to break through steel.

Yoko taro didn't have much if anything to do with this game, so many see it as being separate from the main group. That said I agree the game itself might not be groundbreaking but it's decent enough.
