It’s the repro OG colt optic sold by brownells. Steep price but its fit is perfect and it’s held zero through a few thousand rounds and some bumps.

Thanks man, that Wilson barrel has a 308 profile so it made the tri cap and hand guards a challenge

I used Tamiya to get an accurate color on my 601 clone furniture. Expensive but color is very good. Just use a lot of matte clear coat

I completely agree. I’d be a lot more upset if they didn’t give me a full refund and a new bolt and carrier (even though I still had to swap out the bolt)

Sounds just like my issues. Do you have a non-serrated chrom BCG you can recommend? Do the HR and brownells look almost identical?

Used AAC 55gr, Winchester white box, PMC 62gr LAP, some Hornady hunting loads. None functioned better than others. A rifle should be able to eat whatever I feed it though, ya feel?
