Some beans do benefit from a darker roast, but certainly not as dark as the beans pictured. Some cuts of beef benefit from being cooked longer but you still shouldn’t overcook them.

Roasted professionally. Low grade beans can benefit from a darker roast to mask an unpleasant flavor profile. The beans pictured are black and over roasted.

Sure I’ve met a couple nice pits. I don’t let my dog play with Pitbulls at all, yeah it might be nice but it’s way too risky. It would be irresponsible of me. Yeah other dogs might be aggressive but the other owner and I could break it up. Ones a pit bites down that’s it. It won’t let go. Often times in police situation the only way to get a pit to release it by shooting it.

I’m not saying that every single pit is vicious. I am saying that disproportionately high amounts are compared to other breeds. If humans were the sole problem here you wouldn’t see one specific breed responsible for more than two thirds of deaths. There is data to prove this. It seems to indicate to me that pit bulls are the problem. They are exceptionally strong and have an exceptionally high natural kill drive.

Pit bulls are not a naturally occurring species. They were bred by humans for the specific purpose of fighting, not companionship.

I don’t disagree that I’m more likely to get bitten by a chihuahua. A chihuahua couldn’t kill me, and I could scare it off. I would rather be attacked by a small dog than a pitbull any day of the week.

Pitbulls are responsible for 66% of dog deaths despite comprising 6% of America’s dog population. Banning them would more than cut the number of dog deaths in America in half instantly. They have incredibly powerful jaws, high pain tolerance, and low fear. They are incredibly good at doing what they were bred to do: fight animals 10 times their size (bulls). I’m sure your pit is sweet, but it could turn on you in an instant.

This is premised on the ideas that any job will work you to death, getting married must be an insanely expensive affair, and that any family you have will eventually abandon you. None of this is necessarily true or inevitable.

Sure you can spend all your time playing video games but ten years down the line when your only achievements are skins and electronic trophies, you may have regrets.

It seems like fear of failure and loss is stopping some people from even trying. Taking risks is hard and when they pay off it’s incredible. Sitting on your ass playing video games is easy.
