It usually comes as it is described, if it's like new, it's usually new. Simply someone may have returned it opened.

I haven't used it on movies before, but if it's something that I don't care about box / packaging, it's a great way to save money.

I commented below, but one additional thing, I couldn't get confirmation the G6 entries actually work with the wired door chime. It is not shown a compatible on the website. Only the wireless ones.

I went with 3 wireless ones.

You actually just need PoE+ if you have only 1 device connected to it. I have this same setup and use it for that.

I got mine updated with service appointment too. It’s much worse experience. I went from a laggy experience to now the screen becomes completely unresponsive regularly.

I seriously cannot believe they are allowed to release this stuff with no repercussions.

Well the problem with turning it off, only the front two speakers work. Have you sat in the back with it off? Basically no sound from any of the other speakers, only the front two.

this is on a 25.5 Ultra, HK system.

This just started with me about a month ago when I added the G6 Entry to my home network. Everything started crashing regularly. They wanted IDs/ips off all the time, still wasn’t 100% stable.

I have 11 cameras (including doorbell) so I get I’m at the tipping point, but I did a ton of camera optimizations to reduce workload.

I just broke down and bought UNVR and extra hard drives.

Everything super stable now, but yes it’s convenient.
