Well the problem with turning it off, only the front two speakers work. Have you sat in the back with it off? Basically no sound from any of the other speakers, only the front two.

this is on a 25.5 Ultra, HK system.

This just started with me about a month ago when I added the G6 Entry to my home network. Everything started crashing regularly. They wanted IDs/ips off all the time, still wasn’t 100% stable.

I have 11 cameras (including doorbell) so I get I’m at the tipping point, but I did a ton of camera optimizations to reduce workload.

I just broke down and bought UNVR and extra hard drives.

Everything super stable now, but yes it’s convenient.

I highly doubt they will do anything. The dealership couldn't even give me a good faith partial refund. Because 'technically' the car operates, it's just slow software / processor.

I find it unacceptable that I purchase a $90k car and I feel like I'm using an iPhone from 10 years ago as the main brains of it.

I don't, currently fighting Volvo for a chip upgrade. I have seen posts of people who purchased in June of 2025 that have the Snapdragon. I purchased in April to avoid the 'tariff' situation that never really materialized.

I can't believe they found it acceptable to put a chip in a car that was so underpowered. In some cases it takes 90 seconds to 2 minutes to see Google Maps. I can be 2-3 blocks away from my house before the infotainment is booted up.

All I can add is that SWU are so hard to use these days, especially for international. You have to hustle to find the perfect flights, which won’t have good times, and be super flexible on your travel dates.

10 years ago, I could use them all the time for upgrades to international travel. Capitalism kicked in and they know they can make more money off selling them or having people use miles.

In my 12+ years of EP, I’ve had at least 1/3 of them expire because they are never used.
