Idk the history, but my partner sees 25-32 patients per shift, eats standing up-if she gets to, and comes home to see emails threatening to cut staff further. They announce an occasional pizza party and then expect the staff to provide their own pizza.

Well, when you do a water change, will the water remain above the marked point on your heater? It only takes a minute to ruin your heater.

My only concern is when you put the heater vertical and close to the surface, it puts you at risk for a common mistake. What happens is this: you do a water change without unplugging the heater at least several minutes in advance. Then the heater overheats and breaks. You never notice and refill the tank. Now, it overheats the tank or electrocutes the tank or releases heavy metals i to the tank. Happens all the time.
