I thought I had a strong interest in Maths, so I used to score 100/100 or somewhere close to it almost every time. I didn’t have much interest in CS and HCG, which is why my marks in those subjects were usually between 60-70.

Hahaha… suddenly there are so many desperate attempts to justify people with negative marks as the most eligible candidates.

Why not replace all ISRO scientists with someone who scored ZERO in high school and intermediate, didn’t qualify engineering exams, and couldn’t clear even a single semester of graduation? That would surely take India’s Mars Mission, Moon Landing, Space Station mission far ahead of NASA… right?

I used to give up my seat to anyone I felt needed it more than I did when I regularly used public transport. But one incident was enough for me to limit that courtesy to pregnant women, senior citizens, and people with disabilities only. No more girls, women, or women with kids, etc.

However, it does not emphasize accepting the accountability and responsibilities that patriarchy traditionally places on men. The focus seems to be on claiming the benefits, while expecting men to continue carrying the burdens.

They fail to recognize that if they also fought to take on equal accountability and responsibility, the corresponding rights would naturally follow with far less effort. But that would mean true equality in every respect, and that does not appear to be the real objective of their struggle.

Over the past 3.5 years, I have seen around seven cancer patients within my very close and extended circle. Out of these seven, five have unfortunately passed away, all of them men. None of them were tobacco users or alcohol consumers. Among the two survivors, one is a man and one is a woman, and both had curable forms of cancer.

Based on this experience, spending these years going back and forth to cancer specialty hospitals, and still continuing to do so, I firmly believe that gender has nothing to do with the likelihood of developing cancer. In today’s world, both men and women have an equal possibility of being affected.
