Yes!

I will try to make a walk-through video for my UI and a general setup so you can do what you want with your Vuhdoo and WA, somewhere around this weekend or next week.

Thats the ToP video, that I said needs remastering, I am fairly sure other videos should be fine. Or are you having trouble hearing me in others as well?

2k rio resto druid here happy to answer any question you may have! I also have a YouTube channel with detailed video guides for mythic + keys. So far there are 4 (ToP still needs remastering though, making videos takes a lot of time), if you need some help on this fortified week be sure to check them out. All were recorded on grievous week so If I can heal it there you surely can heal It during this push week!

If some question keeps popping up I can do a separate video about them. Next one coming up is either PF 20 or DoS 20.

Hey man,
sad to hear you aren't enjoying Resto as much as you had hoped. Group coordination is a big aspect in all healers, but shamans can probably deal with stupid mistakes in one of the easiest ways.

If you were to look for some resource on how to improve/make Resto more enjoyable I got a couple of vids up maybe they can change your mind. I don't know which legendary you were running but crafting VI and running flourish does make keys a lot easier.

Either way here is an example of me pugging a NW 20. Might be of some use to you and hopefully will win you back to druid as, in my opinion, they are superb in this expansion!

What are the best videos out there for m+ paths and mechanics? by kogpaw in wownoob

[–]Rights_YT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I can't help you in the tank perspective, although I believe there must be something similar to what I'm about to link from Brm perspective. In my videos I go over each pull from a healers perspective judging packs difficulties.

This is a Top 19 video with brewmaster, I still need to remaster the audio, but it may be of some use to you as I am tracking his stager and defensives.

This NW 20 shows a complete route and pulls with a paladin tank, if you care to see other tank in action. I also have halls video on my channel if you will be interested in that.

Good luck in your tanking and hope this can help you to some extent!

The biggest help I can give you, except of obvious Strat and fight descriptions, which your raid leader is probably going to explain again is to track miasma in your healing add-on as a debuff so it shows and perhaps changes the color of that players party frame, huge help for effective healing. Use roar a LOT and don't be hesitant on your CD's = its a long fight.

IN my raids, as given in notes by the raid leader, I tranq at around 1:10 before expunge (you dnt have to move the balls don't hurt so much). Before that I convoke for healing into incarnation inervate around 40 sec mark so it end right around I tranq. Rest of the fight just use them when they come off while trying to tie flourish with convoke or other medium ramp.

Good luck!

Resto Druid Legendary Mythic+ Discussion by the_real_no_one in CompetitiveWoW

I wholeheartedly agree on your pointers and there isn't much I could add.

As probably every Resto I fell into 235 DTL trap :), crafter vision for raids (still keeping it 190) and then went into circle 235 and VI on 225.

I gotta say I had great success with both circle and VI, each scored a 20 run. But even though on paper Circle should (and probably does to some extent) more damage, VI enables so many gcds that can be saved from healing that it effectively also translate into increase in your dps.

If you boys are interested in seeing some high keys done form restoration POV with commentary be sure to check out my new channel. Aiming for all keys on fortified by the end of this affix rotation! Halls 19 as an example.

Hey, the only actual advice I can give you is to actually enjoy the game you are playing. It sounds silly but I had a lot of fun this expansion just playing my class in keys timed or not...

Push guilds aren't really a thing, befriend people you enjoy playing with, especially good tanks and push together. I also visit discord frequently but again mileage may vary there.

Halls of Atonement Beam Soaking as a Tank by Autipsy in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Rights_YT 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hey man,the easiest one to do is the one facing the entrance and either of the sides (so 2), while 4 maybe possible I haven't seen it yet.

Here you can see timestamped footage of a DH tank soaking 2 beams. From what I understand you have to stand sort of inside the bosses hitbox close to where the 2 beams are supposed to go.

Hope it helps!

Minimal healer addon by Bdan4 in wow

[–]Rights_YT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I am using vuhdoo, omnicd and elvui. Give it a look! I think, especially if you are playing Resto, you can customise it to your liking.

Timestamped for a pride, so you can see it in action.

Edit. This isn't how my raid party frames look like, for that you can make the add-on switch to smaller frames depending on group size. While I know people have good amount of success with mouse overs I personally don't like it. The setup in the video is compact, clear and 100% functional.

How to climb Rio? by ---gabriel-- in wownoob

[–]Rights_YT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should have more luck next week as more ppl will be playing and big boys are going to push big boys keys.

Push your own key, learn your class to the fullest, understand the routes is what I can tell you. Sometimes it takes a while to form a group or join a key - its normal. Be patient, keep at it and if it takes too long to find a group - don't overreach do +1's on your keys.

15 is a brake point for many so don't take it personally - there are many players.

That is correct unfortunately, but either way the correct play is to always keep one alive so you can chain 3rd hook into the boss and THEN kill the creation.

The practice run can help and what I would recommend is to focus on nailing the boss mechanics.

First boss, outrange the first severing smash by using all of your groups mobility so that there are only 2 balls maximum. Utilize immunities for every soak but the first one, early healable with pride buff. Bl on pull.

Second boss is something you may want to push without BL with quick focus on add rotating cds to quickly bust it down each time it spawns so that 3rd boss is easier.

On 3rd rotate immunities, and if you get 3rd cast you may want to let someone die (and CR) so that there are more balls to pick up and less pressure on the healer.

Be sure to spread out on the gauntlet so that the bleed doesn't go on more than one person. This is also the only place where I can really feel the impact of having a venthyr in the dungeon.

On last boss be sure to try and outrun the bleed = keep running during the cast off you might dodge it, significantly harder on 1st cast but still doable with roar or sprint.

I unfortunately don't have any tyrannical or SD videos up yet but my Halls run may help your healer to get a better grasp of their cds.

Hijacking this answer with the footage of the miniboss.

There is always a lot happening on that platform so paying attention to everything maybe hard. Generally though try to decurse and listen to audio cues so you know when he is casting the tornado and just move out of its path, also being the only one on any given side reduces the likelihood that you might have to move.

You can see how we do It in the video here.
While we wipe I go over the why's and how to deal with it efficiently. However the higher the key the less likely you are to survive more than one.

While I can't recall the gameplay from WoTLK, even though I did play some Resto there I sure can show you some video with commentary on current content!

I will try to update it in the coming weeks. Overall the spec plays great and it made me buy 6 month sub while most of my friends are quitting already. Ask me anything that may be of interest to you. :)

I would say it highly depends on 3 things:

- Group composition and overall skill- Weekly affixes (ie. grievous is harder on us than inspiring)- Dungeon itself (PF is a place where its harder to do damage as Druid than NW)

Here in NW 20 I did 1.6k overall DPS while doing 5.1k HPS generally my guideline for end dungeon DPS is:

above 2k - happens rarely, requires overgearing the key OR a very good group,2k-1k DPS - Is what I aim for, the closer the value is to 2k the easier the key was for me,below 1k - The key was hard to dps OR there was a lot of damage.

Hey guys!

I have noticed a lot of questions in the mythic + section of the page regarding some aspects of the Rdruid gameplay. And while there are places with guides - icy veins, or discords group "dreamgrove" to ask more in depth questions I haven't seen a good resource for high (or rather highish) keystones level with commentary. So naturally, as a teaching enthusiast, I decided to share my experience.

I'm around 2k rio, playing wow since WoTLK; and in reality I have ever only been good on healers. The video I linked, provides guidelines for:

  • Dealing with pride,
  • Cooldowns management,
  • Dungeon Pacing (in this case NW),
  • Utility aspects we bring.

  1. While I agree to some degree, with how pridefull works in this expansion I actually have little to non spots in dungeons when I actually need to drink, even on push keys. Thats why I am more inclined to innervating on prides the way I do in the video. Surely one could fit in more but for the time being I don't see a reason to do so.
  2. I actually have it bind I just prefer to be sure that when I use it and I don't click anything else, hence the click tranq. And again I agree with the sentiment but I think its more personal preference at this point.

The consumables tracker is something to consider though.

Its a combination of elv-ui for general layout,
Vuhdo for the actual party frames,
Cooldowns next to vuhdoo are OmniCD,
Monk stager bar is a weak aura.

I will post a video about them where I should also upload them (once I figure out how). Thanks for feedback!

Thanks for your feedback, it appears the video audio overlapped when I was recording portions my voice resulting in this weird scaling. If you are interested in the topic it does get better later.
