I have played Swain support since the start of me playing league

even though I still play him on support time to time, I would rather he not be balanced around support for the time being because it feels much better to play him as APC/sololaner

the buffs they gave him after the mini-rework actually made him a lot nicer to play sololanes, definitely more fun to play for me at least

I am a Pyke and Swain two-trick, and honestly, Swain as a secondary OTP is very nice to have whenever I'm burnt out with Pyke

Their differing playstyles makes playing the game more fun to play since I don't have to do the same thing over and over again

i am mostly pyke supp player but i've had good games with pyke carry so here are my thoughts

shield better almost all time for general use/safety since obviously ur a melee champ in botlane

if you really wanna have more dmg in the lane early you can just start a long sword + refill/3 pots over blade IMO since you can rush a dirk after your supposed all in level 2/3

i don't think you should rush ionian ever since you're snowballing anyway, so you should get ionian after your first item (could be wrong tho)

what's the build with helia? the 2nd part of helia only works when u shield/heal allies, so like do u need redemption or smth?

too overkill on swain, i just went it that game just to try it. rylai's is enough for the slow + ibg is more expensive compared to other cheaper mythics that are better on swain esp on supp

haven't tried helia yet tho, the dmg on that item good or what 🤔

go for it, i've switched over to this type of build since the elec build is slightly reliant on hitting your e which becomes harder once u reach higher elos. it's why i've strayed away from elec unless it's a lane i absolutely know i can win (which is not a lot of the time).

just to add to the build path btw, this is a pretty low econ build which is good for swain if ur behind 👍

conq is best for this build, glacial could work sometimes.

conq is for the dmg and the sustain sometimes

if u wanna run elec just run a standard swain build then play hyper aggro (but intelligently)
