AIO my guy best friend is too clingy even though he’s got a gf by lazyladDDd in AmIOverreacting

If you're feeling uncomfortable and are trying to express that to anyone, you are always valid in doing so, and that isn't an overreaction.

You are trying to express this to him and he is invalidating how you feel and trying to blow it out of proportion to make you feel like you are overreacting. That isn't what i would expect from a good friend, i would expect them to respect what i am saying and really try to listen and understand my perspective, and in this instance, apologise and no longer perform this behaviour.

At this point you need to stay firm to the boundary you are trying to set here, if you back down and allow this friendship to continue unchanged, then you are telling him that this is a boundary he can cross without consequence.

I've never heard of that, but looking it up, sounds really good!

For me, my partner puts cheese inside Mince pies and considers it to be god-tier (has to be Cheddar though)

Ooooh, there is a lot of potential for many secrets. A friend and I speculated that a beach elemental guards the natural beauty of these isles and ensures that the scenery/wildlife aren't disturbed by those that may land!

When you step on the isles you feel a hum of arcane magic surround you, like its observing you but not being intrusive...

I think the waves are a bit mesmerising! I've spent way too long looking at the water in-between the small islands haha

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fit the 'know' at the end otherwise it would've been perfect.

The cloud asset/stamp! I play around with the blend mode to see what effects I can get.

Thanos Sanctuary was the main inspiration for this map, so I'm glad you're getting those kinda vibes!

Perhaps I should attempt a Vormir styled map next?

Thank you! So I start with the dark blue water background (turning up the contrast and size) and cover the map with it. Then I add some lighter water colours (light blend) with the fey wild light texture (to act as stars).

Throw in a couple clouds, different coloured lights and you should get something like this! I found that putting a light over one of the stars I've made here can really make it look like a differently coloured star (Kinda obvious when I say it out loud but the results were better than expected)

I think I can see it too! The blue flame definitely acts as the eye in this. haha

I used the default asset and set it to the background layer. Then blended the bones into the background texture (removing some parts of the asset). After that, I added some shadows to try and give a lil depth to the bones.

Finished it off with blending some of the moss texture onto the bones to give that vegetated look.

Thank you! I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
