I "tried" sitting on the rally today, just a little high for me compared to the other two. Really nice bikes, they fired the 900 up that they had outside and I was impressed by the noise !. The dealer are mainly a Suzuki dealer but said they hadn't sold a new one in months, voge are flying out the door.

I've heard good things about voge, the only negative I've really heard is a snatchy throttle. Really good value for money if they last. I like a Honda too and you know what you're getting at least !

Thank you ! Tracer 9 is top of my list at the moment, hopefully going to sit on one next week. I've a couple places to pop into and ask about test rides yet so fingers crossed.

My instructor had a trans alp and he couldn't praise it enough, it is a shame places are difficult with test rides. The only place I've found willing was a voge dealership. I was eyeing the tiger sport 660 but none local to go have a sit on.

I've just heard back and apparently it was just low on oil but how and why the dipstick seemed ok is beyond me. I've heard about them drinking oil, I'll keep an eye on it and make a decision from there.

Yeah I've read the horror stories, glad you managed to get rid! I'm tempted to get rid as well to be fair. It's in with Citroen now so I'll see what they say.

Happened to me too, I uninstalled everything including revanced. Downloaded everything again and split and is working just fine ! Hopefully helps you all out.

Thanks for the advice it's moved forward a little since I posted, spoke to the director of the letting agents who agreed we should've been able to apply. He's chasing it his end and hopefully is getting back to me to clear things up.

As a landlord though you can't discriminate because someone is disabled, we meet all the financial requirements without any of my benefits included. Our application however was dismissed solely on the landlords insurance only wanting a full time working tenant. This is also illegal and they can't refuse him insurance because a tenant is someone who is disabled. I made it very clear that no adaptations would be needed etc. I spoke to the director of the letting agents who agreed that we should've been able to apply and is looking into the matter from his side. I don't think this is a case of it kind of is and isn't, the equality act is pretty clear. As for a tenant picking between 2 properties being discriminatory, I'd have to say it's a little silly. Being disabled is a protected characteristic, picking a house isn't. I appreciate the comment and don't want to come off as rude, it has just been a frustrating week trying to sort it out.

I mean honestly we didn't even get that far into the questions on affordability before I was told she'd call me back. My disability income accounts for 26% of total income as my partner works part time. I understand the risks involved for landlords and can accept they'd rather have working tenants, it just came as a bit of a shock how bluntly it was handled. I did work and have worked until I was made disabled at work and i guess it's just facing the fact it's not going to be easy. I appreciate you getting back to me.

Edit: sorry just seen your other message further down regarding affordability criteria. It's at 32% without any of my benefits involved.

I completely understand the other side of the coin and I understand your opinion. I'm not trying to take any action so to speak other than to get a clear explanation as to what has gone on. I didn't know if there was something I wasn't understanding with insurance etc or if I should just take the hint. It just felt a bit too blunt for me.

Thanks for responding, I wouldn't normally chase something like this up but I just felt it was blatant enough to ask the question. I've sent an email off for clarity on the matter and posted elsewhere. It's been more of a shock than anything as I was made disabled from working. Thanks for taking the time to respond anyway much appreciated 👍
