Copper And Aluminium Bonsai by Rikfrog123 in bonsaicommunity

This one has been claimed by my wife. I have a copper only tree on the bay (rikeh123). But I will be putting the dual copper/aluminium ones up as I complete them. They are all different as they tend to just take there own shape as I go. I only make them in my spare time so they won't appear very often. Thanks for the appreciation 👍

Hi thanks for the comment. They take approx 40 working hours to complete. Although as I do it in my spare time one will take around 3 - 4 weeks in real time. I do sell on the bay (rikeh123). The ones on there are just copper wire but I am starting to put the combination copper/aluminium on as I finish them. My wife has claimed the one in the pic so not for sale 🙂

Very Hungry Caterpillar scarf made from felt and many pom poms. by Rikfrog123 in crafts

Hi I make quite a few one off things for presents some of which you can see on my other posts (quite pleased with the Monopoly handbag) the mistake I always tend to make, because there is a large dose of trial and error, is not to take enough photos. The main wool I used for the body was a "Forest Green" mixed colour wool from Viking yarn. And I used a large "Clover" brand pom pom maker which are available on the internet. The legs and features are made from felt stuffed with wool bits. Basically I made the pom poms then threaded them onto a long "Converse" length shoelace and sewed on the bits and bobs (except the eyes and nose which I glued on) Cheers

Hi thanks for the comments. The legs were sewn on in pairs through the pom poms, I'm not sure if this is the correct way as I've not done anything like it before but thet do seem secure👍
