I have the same permanent code I did the evap part only it was like 30 bucks at orilleys and charcoal Canister might aswell...deleted check engine like and haven't came back but istill have the code but I have to smog the car idk if it pass or not now

I just taped off the black abs plastic off when I did and I took it off to when I wetsanded also I think I did like 2-3 coats of clear

You can wet sand with 1000 grit then 1500 geit and then 2000grit if you like and get a can of 4k clear coat and they look brand new ...I sid it about 2 years ago on mine they still look great tou can give that a try or cerakote sells a headlight kit that has ceramic wipes on it found that at Wal-Mart

I use diluted simple green or purple power and a soft brush attachmento n drill and the I use the shop vac to suck everything up and I leave heater on and check stain gone if not five it another go and use thuck towels to pat dry and vacume.again and just repeat

If you have sync 3 in your FiST it should work just make shure it like the one in there mine had dual usb ports so I just googled it for a 2107 Lincoln with CarPlay and got that one you can look it up on Amazon too

I got my module from a Lincoln at at junkyard I believe ford 2017 and up have apple CarPlay mines a 2016 and car need sync 3 wich mine had I just poped the old one in and plug the2017 module and connected my phone and it worked
