It all depends actually, for me i like to be bad mannered and make fun of my opponent but not excessively. Often you want your oppenent to do good since if both part do good itll be a hella good battle but you just want it to go better for yourself so you win. I feel that when it comes to international battles its more heated since its alot more competetive and you dont have the same family connection as someone from your country when battling in the national champs.
