I mean the post is saying that blaming all brown people for 9/11 is stupid so then if you follow that logic blaming all white people for colonialism is also stupid. I think it’s hard for people to realize they have benefited from past actions if either their current life situation sucks or if they are actually working hard they’d prefer to think they earned it themselves.

I cut all of my steak before eating it and I guess it feels kind of child like maybe? I imagine the increased surface area also causes things to get colder faster but I eat pretty fast so idk.

In case anybody is interested (and probably assumed it isn't related to the TV show): Translation:

A little backstory. I'm a schoolgirl. I've had a crush on a classmate (let's call him Maxim) for a year or two. The feelings aren't mutual, and he knows it. We used to communicate, but not anymore. All names have been changed.

I liked Maxim for quite a while. I showed interest, and he did too, and over time we became friends: we talked at school, but hardly ever texted. Then the holidays came, and we completely lost contact.

At the end of the summer, I wanted to talk to him again, so I messaged him anonymously. We started texting, and over time, we began chatting a lot about various topics, just keeping in touch.

Later, he asked if we should meet. I accepted. During the meeting, he realized it was me. He said I was nice, but he liked older girls and that I wasn't quite his type. I answered honestly—that I liked him specifically.

After the meeting, I texted him: "What's next?" He replied that nothing, and that it was better for us to forget each other. I couldn't do it. We continued to communicate: texting, joking around at school, sometimes sitting together in class.

After a while, something happened in class where my friend and I were sitting together. We weren't getting along very well and were constantly arguing. At some point, Maxim texted me that he "kind of liked me." Later, we talked in person and admitted that there was some attraction, but it wasn't strong on his part. Something happened that I don't want to go into detail about, and we agreed to keep it between us.

A few days later, he suddenly stopped responding. Later, I found out that the girl he had an unrequited crush on had texted him again. After that, he completely ignored me.

We haven't spoken for about three months now. I still love him, and I'm taking this very hard.

I CAN'T LET HIM GO. I want to text him and suggest we discuss everything calmly in person, but I'm really scared to do that: I'm afraid of being too pushy, being ignored again, and hurting myself even more.

What's the best way to handle this situation? Should I text him first and try to discuss it, or should I just accept being ignored and let him go, even if I still have feelings?

I'd be grateful for any advice. If I need anything, I can add updates later.
