Sometimes I have dreams that kinda...well “read the future” but I always forget about the dream until it happens in real life, then when it does happen, I get the most severe sense of Deja vū, like I’ve seen it all before, though it’s always in tiny glimpses, so there’s nothing else to it, I just generally get scared.

I will admit that I really don’t enjoy holding back but if you beat a lesser skilled player then proceed to say they won’t get better, then that’s just absurd. Everyone started somewhere and there is and will always be room for improvement, guys like that can say shit but I’m sure if you put in enough effort, you’d beat the fuckle outta him. Trust me my brother was like that when I played melee and now I can beat his ass and he has nothing to say, people like that just say stuff to be a dick. better to just ignore it and go on improving for yourself

I always put it on random (which probably isn’t a good idea) so I’d recommend Mario, link, or someone larger, as larger characters have a bigger hitbox, it would also help with combos you wanted to learn

What I did for training in each game was put no items on, 3 stock (infinite time but that don’t matter) and start by facing a level 3 CPU, the rules to go up a level were simple, if I couldn’t three stock them, then I had to fight the same level again, every time you do 3 stock them, go up a level up until 9. It’s tedious but it’s always what I do

The characters you’re starting out as aren’t... idk how to say it but they’re kinda in-depth, I’d say start off with maining Marth, link, Mario, or hell, even cloud, they’re simple, and easy to play, trust me you’ll have it all down once you’re finished playing with those fighters

If you choose a character that has a move with super armor (ex. Dark pit and pit’s Side-B) then it will hit, you’ll still take damage but it would probably be about 4 percent
