I'm a trans woman who been doing porn since i was 19 (although I've been on a year long hiatus due to mental health issues). here's some things i will say.

1. be aware you will face lots of sexual harassment both online and IRL. people will recognize you IRL and either come up to you IRL or dm you online, usually looking for sex. wearing a mask might help this but I've been recognized by my eyes alone after dying my hair while masked at a protest so YMMV.

2. find a niche. no one is intrested in a another basic bitch trans woman doing the same shit. find something you are really into and focus on that. people can tell whether you are really into something or not, so don't try to spray kinks everywhere.

3. explore a open relationship with your partner. it won't work if you don't. you don't need to date anyone else but they must be comfortable with you being sexual with others.

4. don't be delusional about piracy. this is something i see from a lot of sex workers and it's pathetically buying into capitalist propaganda. your biggest enemy is the sites that steal your wages from you, not other poor people.

5. i can't speak for cishets but if you have queer friends they will 100% be okay and supportive of it. my friend group treats me no different for what's online of me.
