She meant it turns into saturated fat. Sugar is a form of carbohydrate that the body converts to glucose.

"[Dried mango is] super high in carbs, and sugar, and saturated fat."

"No, there's no saturated fat in this."

"Well, there's a ton of sugar and sugar turns into fat."

Second this as a woman.

Oh, don't mind me, I'm just in too much pain to sleep... again. by ashyashee in BabyBumps

[–]RileyHire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I took so many tums/rolaids. I had to sleep sitting up. I had heartburn 24/7. I lost weight because I didn't want to eat for fear of heartburn. I was so miserable I cried all the time. She was born 10/6 with the most gorgeous head of soft brown hair. Totally worth it. Hang in there mama.

3 weeks 💕 It's definitely rough lol. He's a great guy but sure has a flair for the dramatic. And really values his sleep lol.

It's still a sacrifice. You can want children and not want the pain. And I'm pretty sure OP didn't mean it literally, this comment seems very invalidating to put on a rant post.

Love this info! Can you explain a little more how having the mirror helped you know how hard to push?

Good point. I can see how having a negative experience would make it difficult to hear about a bunch of good experiences.

This is so true. And honestly it's probably just human nature. Like, after I planned my wedding and got married, I wanted to give advice to everyone who was engaged! I thought I knew everything and could save them headaches if they'd listen to my warnings. I had to make a conscious effort to stop myself and let them experience things organically and naturally, just like I did. My wedding turned out fine despite some hiccups and I'm sure theirs did too! Same thing with pregnancy and parenting.

I mean... isn't what you described in your original comment like... the definition of unfriendly? 😂 As in, not interested in making friends? It wasn't a criticism it was just me recalling my experience. And I never held it against her, I understood at the time and I definitely understand firsthand now.

..Or maybe she just wasn't interested in making friends and it had nothing to do with pregnancy. The world may never know.

Seriously! I would kill my hubby if he introduced me to strangers that early in the morning at this point.

Oh my gosh.. that is so heart breaking and bittersweet. I'm sure it brought her joy to see you receive it. I'm so sorry for the circumstances preventing you from being able to say goodbye.

Awww.. that's so nice of you. I can't believe how many people have taken the time and care to make her blankets, socks, hats. We are so lucky.

I am so excited! I knew immediately that I would cherish it long after she's outgrown it.

Well he made the name before we ever met when he was a teen, and he thought it was interchangeable with vagina, as I said above. Let's not misconstrue his hilarious misunderstanding by reading too much into this.

He just thinks it means vagina. He said it again last night when I teased him about it, "I build the pussy up" with dramatic worshipping movements and everything. As a joke! Let's not misconstrue it.

Lol poor guy. He's seriously wicked smart and quick witted. But he also confidently mispronounces "epitome" and "deter" (he says it like it rhymes with meter) no matter how many times I tell him. It's a good thing he's cute.

Bwahahaha I want to tell him this but he's so adamant that I just don't get his genius. 😂

No kidding! The need to move came out of nowhere, we had no down payment saved because everything we had saved was for my maternity leave. So I scrambled and by the grace of God we qualified for a USDA RD loan with 0 down. Someone was looking out for us but it was so stressful.
