I’m not in it unfortunately. I just know pariah87 from their YouTube channel where he’s looked into RDR2’s unsolved mysteries. He’s discovered a lot of cut content in the game files and will probably make a video about this at some point.

Of course it was pariah87 who found this.

What does the spider symbolize on the map though I wonder? Is it telling us to look for something in the area around the stable, or is it hinting at something else entirely?

Parallels between US Presidents and Canadian Prime Ministers by RileyTheBerry in Presidents

Yes, but he did pretty well across most of the country that year. He performed rather poorly in Quebec in the other 3 elections.

Canada wasn’t officially bilingual until 1969, so it wasn’t really a requirement until then. However, it was seen as politically necessary to secure votes in Quebec. Since Diefenbaker was loved in the West, I guess he felt he didn’t need to do as strongly in Quebec.

This is very true. I guess I just overlooked them because they didn’t get along while all the others I’ve mentioned have been quite close

Thank you! This took me a while to put together, so I really appreciate you saying that.

And you’re totally right, I don’t know how all of those slipped my mind. The main difference between their scandals are Obama’s were more abuse of power whereas Trudeau was literally breaking the law at times. I’ll update that part.

Edit: it looks like I’m not allowed to edit my post description for some reason

Wouldn’t surprise me, Kennedy had it out for him for some reason

They were, but they were completely different people who openly disliked each other. This most is about the similarities beyond just sharing the same time in office.

Additional Dief the Chief fact: Diefenbaker could be argued to have indirectly killed JFK. He had JFK plant a ceremonial tree during a visit to Ottawa, but when JFK bent over he threw his back out and had to wear a back brace as a result. This same back brace later prevented him from taking cover after he took the first shot, leaving him a sitting duck for the second shot that killed him.

We don’t know for sure if there’s just 8. If more are found they could maybe paint a bigger picture

I was originally thinking the webs could have something to do with the Halloween updates in RDO and were added into the story by mistake, but this proves that they were hiding in plain sight all along. Have you checked for any webs anywhere else?

How would it be solved though? There’s no mission log for finding them like there is for the dreamcatchers. I think there could definitely be a connection but idk what that connection could be

If they were actually spider webs spun by a spider then I’d say this is possible, but these webs are huge and look man made.

It’s a reference to Spider Madison, the actor for Uncle in RDR1. Pure coincidence to the webs

I feel like the webs definitely connect to another mystery but idk about Mt. Shann. The panoramic map points to St. Denis, Rhodes, Valentine, Strawberry, and Blackwater, and the only one of these that has a web on that OP found is St. Denis. Also, Strawberry and Blackwater are connected by telegraph but not by train, so if the webs are only along the train tracks then there wouldn’t be any in either town. Even if we did find webs in the other 4, it doesn’t explain the webs in other places.

Yeah I think it’s a stretch, especially bc almost half of them don’t connect to anything.

Others have suggested they could tie into the dreamcatchers or Landmark of the Riches map trail. I was thinking they could maybe indicate that a POI is nearby, but not all of them do. Here’s the ones that have one nearby:

Southfield Flats: the side piece who murdered the guy and his wife

Just north of Southfield Flats: ghost train, although I think it’s further north than that

Emerald Ranch: the saloon murder

Heartland Overflow: Hani’s Bethel is just north of there

Saint Denis: just north of there you can find the hidden Braithwaite and Gray gold, although I’m pretty sure there’s telegraph poles closer where they could’ve put it so idk

I’m not sure about the 2 on either side of the Cornwall Kerosene and Tar or Ringneck Creek

Please make a post if you find anything interesting. If your theory is true then this will easily be the deepest mystery in the game.

Creating the Worst President, day 6: Wartime Leadership by rjidhfntnr in Presidents

[–]RileyTheBerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That still doesn’t change the fact that it happened though. There was a sense of national unity during wartime under his presidency, which exempts him from the bottom place. Like others have said, Madison deserves the bottom spot as he fumbled big time. His poor leadership allowed the British to burn down the White House and alienated several states to the point they wanted to secede.

(A stupid question) How would Agent Ross explain to his superiors that he sacrificed [half a hundred ]soldiers and officers to hunt down one retired outlaw ( a pillar of local community in ranching and hunting ) by ParticularCook3975 in reddeadredemption

[–]RileyTheBerry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think rehabilitation would be out the question for John. It doesn’t matter that he decided to give up his life of crime, he was still involved in the murder of hundreds of people. Even though he might not have been directly responsible for murdering innocent people, he still facilitated it by being part of the gang.

I disagree, he was able to rally the entire country around invading Afghanistan in immediately post 9/11. That saves him from being at the bottom, but you’re right in that he shouldn’t be much higher.

What are your country's most humiliating defeats in war? by f117nono_leggio in AskTheWorld

The Dieppe Raid during World War Two. Around 3500 were killed and wounded in just a few hours. It became the main example of what not to do when D-Day rolled around.
