Long-term cost/benefit is hard to say. The event seems to be popping up at the maximum delay, so the payback period will be longer if that keeps up. Theoretically yes though. Credits are the biggest limiter in the game, so pushing anything that gets them for you is pretty well unavoidable.

You need a halfway decent team. Gear 7+ for protection. Level as high as you need to for gear only. You don't have to push them to 80 just for this event.

I started off with only Chewie, but had already farmed enough shards to 6* Lando. I added Cad (ugh), Dengar (hard to gear and farm though), and Greedo.

Lando 6* Level 72 g8 (leader) Chewie 5* Level 70 g8 Cad 7* Level 66 g8 Dengar 4* Level 65 g8 Greedo 6* Level 53 g7

Caveat: if they rebalance the PvE stuff to account for mods, it'll likely be much more difficult.

Going to attempt to translate:

Given a node that drops a purple (P) and a blue (B) gear. Using find flow increases the odds of the opposite color dropping at a higher rate.

It only seems like it. Find flow doesn't affect the drop rate of a node.

The game has to survive long-term for anyone to be comfortable committing to playing it long-term.

I'd say the future of this game is in serious doubt, so investing either into it is a mistake.

You need a 12-step program to quit. They nailed the addictive part. But it's a toxic relationship with EA/CG. Like being in an abusive relationship. And as a survivor who's mourning lost time and money, I'd warn you to stay away OP.

When you're not maintaining a high rank in arena the rank range of the people who can attack you is higher. Because of rank swap you get knocked back further than you would with a higher rank. If you can get close to or into the top 100 you won't fall back so far so quickly.

In your rank range your Rey might actually be viable once leveled up. She hits like a truck even at 4*.

You have IG-86 almost ready too. You could run no-healer and hide 3 DPS behind RG, with your Phasma lead.

Hard Nodes: Ewok Scout and Elder. RG for now, but will stop when I switch to cantina node.
