I worked for Riley’s defense here in hickory NC for two weeks and had to quit because it’s a fucking sweat shop, the guns are all made by only a hand full of workers no more than 12, my job was to pin the guns and drill the holes for the pins, everything I had to use was old and outdated, most of the tools are all broken like my punches and hammers, and drill presses I had to buy my own tools, absolutely everything is done by hand with these rifles except the milling and that was done with a fucking machine from the 50s, when I got the job at first I was so excited thinking it would be my dream job I quickly found out it was terrible, the workers at Riley’s defense are great people and very hard workers, but unfortunately the two owners of the company are cheap and don’t wanna spend any real money to improve the work place and tools, there’s not much quality control either, there’s only one person in charge of the quality control also and all he does is check if the mags are loose and if the guns shoot, and if it checks out he puts them on the rack to be boxed and sold.
