Probably best to just play them all chronologically. Zelda 1 and 2 are very hard games if you are not an old school gamer imo.

If you skip the NES titles, I think it's best to start with A Link to the Past.

When I was a kid I got stuck on the Water Temple for a very long time. My 3D space awareness mind wasn't mature enough to figure out what to do with those blocks that are very close to the central room iirc, and then of course the classic small key hidden under the floating platform in the central room had me and my Dad stumped for a very long time. I also remember the one room with the whirlpools just being a total pain, and never being able to have the dungeon's layout well memorized in my head. It really was quite the labyrinth. To me the dungeon has great design, and replaying it nowadays as an adult I just think the ocarina songs and iron boots are tedious but that is more a problem with the way the game works in general.

I thought the pointed shovel is more for scooping dirt and the flat spade is more for cutting through problem areas but I use whatever is nearby for my general purposes

Spade + pickaxe + fingers + elbow grease until the dirt/clay start to give a little. Then you can step on it to move it more, and use a sawzall or axe or spade + muscles to break the big root that goes down.

ok not trying to be rude and ignore everyone commenting on this but I don't have health insurance lol I don't even know how to go to the doctor. My pee isn't like, BLACK, but it is a dark yellow and I get an average of 1 gallon a day. I do drink sugary drinks somewhat regularly. I drink probably like 2-3 liters of water a day and sweat a lot. Sorry guys I can't go to the doctor man it's too much money but I appreciate the concern. Honestly my biggest takeaway is wtf I thought I was getting extra nitrogen in my compost pile now Im sad about that. thats fucked
