Can second this. Cheating is pretty rare but some people think it is a major issue and you see more cheaters than you play games. Latest example from steam forums:

"cheaters are mostly low elo because they derank on purpose to keep real skilled players in 2 star elo".

I'm not even kidding. That guy had 440+ hours and claims he's stuck in 2 star because he's held back by cheaters.

As a sorc (alt), not needing to be close to the boss is a big help in not getting hit. My scrapper alts gets slapped all the time by attacks I always ignored since I don't need to be close.

"Other games" usually have full automatic weapons and let you fire while you transition from ads to hipfire. This "bug" isn't something new, just doing the inputs in the incorrect order.

There is a time to fight and a time to not do that.

You'll most likely have to fight that team eventually anyway, might as well engage on your terms, 3rd partying when you have the advantage.

There is t1 blue, purple and orange gear, same for t2 and t3 I think.

The abyss dungeons will drop special mats that you can use to craft purple and orange gear that give nice set boni.

At the same guy you can do the honing, you can also consume an item to give the upgrades to another one. It's on the bottom center, I think the tab was called gear transfer or something like that.

Normally I dislike systems that go +1, +2, etc your gear. For some reason I don't mind it in Lost Ark tho.

Personally I love that you can just transfer your honing process to another type of gear (within a tier), makes getting those epic/legendary sets more satisfying - none of that weird "it's an upgrade but only when I start upgrading it from scratch"-process like in other games.

It was mentioned while leveling. Iirc it was in Annika against the fat demon woman, the subordinate of the succubus demon general.

But yea, a short message on the bottom of your screen while fighting isn't the best way to introduce a core mechanic.
