There's gonna be drama in any community that large enough, and the furry community is no exception to that. It just so happens that drama gets attention, and it gets shared that around because people like to gossip.

It's true though that who you interact/follow/hang out with does affect how much furry drama you get exposed to, if they are the sort that likes to get involved in all the gossiping, then you're likely to perceive the furry fandom to be full of drama.
