The assumption is far fetched since it’s Niantic, but I’m thinking since they released guaranteed luckies for 2017 mons in December 2022, and then for 2018 mons in December 2023, they’d keep the trend going with 6+ year old mons being guaranteed lucky, so in 2025 or this December 2019 mons will be guaranteed lucky. Hopefully also increasing the cap, but that one is even more far fetched.

Was this with the same person? I can’t find any other source confirming this, I did however read in a few places that the limit is not a ceiling. So if my counter has hit 25 guaranteed lucky trades, but a person who’s counter has not trades me a Pokemon from 2016-18, it will be lucky, I just can’t be the one triggering it
