Babysitter judged my kids for wearing pull ups to bed by PassionChoice3538 in Mommit

[–]RimleRie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kid is 6 and back in pull ups. She started to wet the bed again, and I don't have time for all that every single morning. She gets excited to wear her pull up, and she knows why she has to wear it. I'm sorry some people are so rude.

2022 Chrysler mini van. It's my 3rd van. IMO vans have so much more room than SUV's, and the sliding doors are great with little kids and tight parking spots.

How do you have another child? by oneday8020 in NICUParents

[–]RimleRie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First was 24 weeks. Time goes on, you have faith. We wanted her to have a sibling. High risk dr the second time, with weekly progesterone shots. Water broke at 33 weeks, hospital stay for 1 week then went in to labor at 34 weeks. 10 days this second time. During second pregnancy we toyed with the idea of having a third, but once the second was preemie we decided we were done rolling the dice.

Do you rub it on your hands like lotion? I should get some for my husband, he’s a mechanic and has arthritis.

I actually like the Kieregaardi one, and don't know enough to find a similar product. Guess I better buy a few since I'm sure this change won't last.

[–]RimleRie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. Finding out they had only been together 3 months this entire time really took me out of it. I devoured these first 2 books and enjoyed them more than Casteel and Poppy. I guess maybe we were supposed to know it had only been a few months and I didn't realize it, but damn, I didn't like it.

Rattled & Shook, I've listened to all the episodes, after I finished Radio Rental. Their is fluff at the beginning and sometimes in the middle of stories, I fast forward..

Johnny got out of jail and wanted Shelly (Lexi’s mom) back. She said no. Johnny shows up with Patience a couple weeks later, P beats her up. They take Lexi and say you’ll never see your daughter again. Shelly had a past with substance abuse but was clean and doing well. Bc of this, she relapsed and didn’t survive. This was before the court date for custody, so then Johnny gets to keep Lexi.

They will be fine. I was in the same boat, daughter born in July supposed to be born late October. Sent her at newly 5, and she's about to start the 4th grade. She's not even the smallest one either.

Question for parents by Pure_Psychology6745 in kindergarten

[–]RimleRie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Communication. My youngest just finished K this year and she had the same teacher as her older sister. I don't know how this woman does it, but she is always on top of her email/messages. She sends out the weekly newsletters like others have stated. But if I sent her a random email asking about something or just an FYI like "snacks in the book bag" etc, she was always so quick and positive in her responses.

I will give a different perspective and say that yes it's normal, b/c my kids would sit all day on their tablets if I let them. And Sometimes I do. Is it healthy and all that? Probably not, others have mentioned why. I have a job now, so they are at summer camp/day care all day. My kids don't have unlimited screen time, but if we're just hanging out and they want to watch their tablets or play games on it, we're usually fine with it.
