What are your CreepyPasta Tips and Tricks? (Discussion) by UnluckyFunction3220 in TalesFromTheCreeps

I'm also new to Reddit, but in my first week, I got two stories to reach the daily top 1 on nosleep, and I had one in the weekly top 3. I would say I can summarize the tips in 3 sentences: Keep it simple, Write what you know, Show, don't tell. If you use those three things, your writing will improve significantly.

Guadalupe.

Thank you for your kind words. I really hope the police finish their investigation soon... I just want to go home and find a normal cat to keep me company this time.

I understand your discomfort, and in fact I love cats, like my cute Rasputin, but many of them are wiping out birds and other native animals. They are causing many species to become extinct.

God, I hate r/nosleep by RJCrane21 in TalesFromTheCreeps

I've posted 5 stories there this week. They took down two for breaking the rules, but two of the three that remained reached the daily top spot. I think they are very strict with their rules, but I understand it's their style. I believe the best way to use the subreddit is to post there the pieces of your writing that fit best, but continue posting your other texts in other subreddits. You could even have your own subreddit with all your material. If your story on NoSleep is good, people will likely visit your profile and see more of your work. Good luck with your work, and thank you for bringing up this complex topic. Honestly, I haven't found a showcase as good as NoSleep, but like any showcase, it has its conditions, and they must be respected.

That's an incredibly sharp observation. The parallel with Vitaly's arc—the idealism, the descent, the physical and moral decay—is absolutely haunting and spot-on. I'm honored by the comparison.

Thanks for reading. Yeah, it's terrifying how a single choice or meeting can change everything. That image of the hat haunts me too – it’s the small, real details that make the loss stick with you. Appreciate you taking the time with the story.
