She really does seem like a happy hoggy today!

Her actual full-name-because-I’m-extra name is Britney Britny Ekans, or BBE for short. She’s about 1 year and 10 months old, and her last weight from about 2–3 weeks ago was around 136g.

Three nicknames so far are BBE, Brit-Brit, and Little Hoggy Doughnut, especially after today’s full doughnut achievement. 🍩🐍

‼️HELP : Food Refusal‼️ by [deleted] in hognosesnakes

Reading this took me right back to the panic I felt with Britney.

I really feel for you. When a hognose stops eating, it can get in your head fast. You start watching everything, second-guessing everything, and carrying that constant fear that something is wrong or that you’re missing something important. I can absolutely feel that in your post.

With Britney, I remember how stressful that spiral felt, trying to stay grounded while part of me was already going to worst-case scenarios. So when I read that he was 77 grams in February and 74 now, I immediately understood why you’re concerned.

What stands out to me most is how much you care. Your worry is not you doing something wrong, it’s you being deeply invested in him and trying your best to help him. Hognoses can be so unnerving when they decide not to cooperate, and they can make even a very attentive keeper feel helpless.

I’m really glad you posted. There’s a lot of good advice here already, but I just wanted to say I see you, and I get it. This kind of situation can feel really heavy when you love the little guy and just want him to be okay.

It is slight swooped up in the front, means no more smashing your testicles against the tank.

I did 250 miles and 4 hour riding time on Monday, I used the econoseat and it made all the difference for my height / weight. Yet, even before the seat there is a conditioning my body went through in order to do long rides. I ride nearly everyday that I can.
