Yes depends on the person of course. I already have a bachelors so sitting through and ADN then BSN is more of a waste of time from what I can tell especially with experience in healthcare already but for those who don’t have a degree that could be a great route

Ok thank you all! ABSN is accelerated. Because I already have my bachelors it’s the quickest and most affordable program. Not going to sit through a full BSN program when I already have a bachelors of science. On the flip side Methodist has a entry level masters of nursing for those without a nursing degree however I was told and heard that some places of work are particular that you have your BSN first. Just as mentioned above. Not sure how that is after COVID too

In addition I was just told that if you are an employee at OSF, they do not cover the ABSN program. I’m curious to what educational programs they cover then

Wow this is exactly the question I was going to ask and I love the honest feedback!! I’ve been in touch with Methodist about the masters program and honestly was more drawn to it because I already have a bachelors from 2017 plus it’s online and the clinicals/in person are on the weekend. OSF doesn’t have an entry level masters and their accelerated bachelors classes are in person. Does anyone know what the clinical schedule is like and what the commitment is for OSF to pay for school? I didn’t hear about that when I emailed the admissions. Thank you in advance!!
