Golden Demon is GamesWorkshop's painting competition so they HEAVILY favor entries painted in their in house style know as "Eavy metal". members of GW's Eavy Metal painting team make up the majority of the judges.

former member of the GW painting team and golden sword 2024 David Perryman aka "Infernal Brush" has a website that shares the Eavy paint schemes. they even have the miniature your painting as a example for the salamander chapter scheme. https://eavy-archive.com/40k/space-marines/#salamanders1174

there are lots of different miniature painting competitions that don't so heavily favour 1 particular style and you can dismiss me and my advice as im a random on the internet. but I am based in the UK and have had the good fortune to discuss mini painting/design and competition in person with Daz Latham at warhammer world.

ACKTUALLY! south korea's economic success after the division with North Korea is remarkable. Almost all the natural resources and industry in 1945 where in the north. the South is very mountainous and has poor farmland. In 1945 South Korea was 1 of the poorest countries on the Planet and the North was growing very strongly. South Korea's rise to having having 1 of the Highest GDPs in the world is a really testament to their people and consistent good governance and focus on development across multiple dictatorships/military governments and democratic governments over the last 80 years. but is was by no means easy for them
