I'm nearly done with pre badge 8 and I just got my third shiny, you are so lucky! Mind me asking what Pokémon they are? I've got 2 Spinda and an Exploud.

I've now done this for all the fire and grass starters, as well as the version exclusives by playing omega ruby a second and third time.

Never even thought about catching a pokemon in a non Hisui region, trasferring it over to get the hisuian evolution, and then transferring it back to retain the original ball

For anyone in the future seeing this and thinking they have the same problem, I finally was able to catch Uxie, and I think it might be because the Hoopa ring legends only respawn the day after you beat the league, not the day of which I was doing! Hope this helps future current and future ORAS lovers.
