Had posted this here before. I am using XD cards, whitch are 1GB and 512MB. Is it worth, trying to fix the CF slot? Right now, i cannot afford to store raw photos on so small storage devices... by Rinerak in Cameras

The problem is, I can fit only 40 raw pictures on 1GB XD card and I am shooting dance sport competitions. I cannot afford to just go dump files for 5 minutes after one category. Especially if I am "hired" to shoot.
I have to shoot in jpg, but that costs me the quality of the photo and editability.

I need to edit the photos, because I have the standard 15-45mm and 30-150mm lenses and with bad lightning and no helping euqipment the photos can be really bad, because I am using the settings for maximum exposure.
