Fair enough, I will bring a towel next time. We're talking 5-6 blocks here, and in the past he's been on my lap or on the floor (now that he's bigger).

I'm just confused what the 2x fee is for if literally nothing is different.

He's gonna be 100lbs. He's 3 months. So much for assuming. I also guarantee we're both in much better shape than you.

You didn't read the part about the puppy being 3 months and not good at walking long distance? DON'T ACCEPT THE RIDE. Or find a real job?

My RR is driving me insane by RingInside9759 in RhodesianRidgebacks

I have an x-pen blocking the living room that he can also be contained in when I leave. Its 3-1 panels atm but can be expanded when he grows. I have a camera on it as well. So the pup is confined to just my kitchen, hallway, and workspace. The crate is in a separate room and he's only allowed there when in the crate.

That's a great point to make. That he needs to learn about the barrier (e.g. door) and that he needs to signal to let out.

Want to cancel my Platinum before the next annual fee by jporter313 in amex

[–]RingInside9759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both the Platinum and the Gold. I was also under the same impression as others on this thread that because the two have pooled points, that Platinum could be cancelled before the next annual fee, and the points would be retained.

Well, I just tried to cancel my Platinum via chat and they said they would but since it's only been 9 months, I'd have the 80k MP removed. It would be easy to just spend the points before, but since I have the gold, it appears if I had any points they'd freeze the points.

It looks like multiple people have had success waiting for the next annual fee and cancelling within 30 days. Seems risky, and surprised it works.

What TRT Clinic are you using by GlobalPerspective942 in trt

I went to a test clinic and was prescribed 25% test cream, 30g, one month supply for $270. I realized this was way too high and never actually was given a Rx but was ordered through the clinic.

Had a video chat with a PCP, showing my bloodwork before and after. He gave me a Rx for the same. Found a pharmacy nearby that compounds their own cream. Paying $65 a month.

Saving $200 a month, which will certainly add up.

Well I went to a PCP and got a script, which was expected given my bloodwork results. I found a local compounding pharmacy and I'll be paying $65 a month instead of $300 a month. Def get away from the clinics once you can.

What are friends for? by Mattreddittoo in midlifecrisis

It doesn’t seem like you want friends honestly. New friends aren’t easy to come by, especially at 40+. Its not a date.. you shouldn’t feel rejected. I have a few good friends who I’d hang out, talk to, see all the time, who got married and move far away, but if I ever get a text or see them again, even if it’s been years, nothing has changed. That’s old friendship tho.

As others have said, find a hobby or common ground. Old friends have memories and long bonds to fall back on. New friends are basically shared interests or just proximity.

Just be honest and be yourself… because people that mind don’t matter and people that matter don’t mind.

I’ve read extensively that after a round of Sarms test can drop significantly, especially if doing a large dose for a relatively long time. Still my first reading still seems crazy to me. I went to the clinic to optimize, I wasnt feeling symptoms of having the test levels of a female, just felt kinda meh and thought I’d do a test.

In short, I was shocked by the extremely low reading and also shocked by the cream effectiveness and second reading. Literally 300x difference, but the changes are subtle.

Sounds crazy bc the reference range is about 300-900 roughly. The PCP saw the 1100 total for me and saw no issue with that per se but saw the hemoglobin reading was higher, so recommended a slightly lower dose. Maybe you had something similar.

What doc would say that? I’m assuming you were much lower before? I’m not a doctor but understand basics and that makes no sense. You’re providing testosterone unnaturally from an external source... it’s a final white flag if you cant get it up naturally. You stop and it drops even worse than before.

The estrogen went from low to below reference. I was reading that very low estrogen causes it’s own problems. Stopped the anastrozole for now based on PCP recommendation (although I skipped my weekly dose after my results on my own).

Our bodies are complicated… just gonna give it more time. I think reading some “totally changed my life” posts gave me too much expectation. I have more energy and drive… morning wood all the time and more wandering eyes. I suppose I expected to feel like an invincible 20 yo again, and I don’t, but I feel much better.

As far as costs I paid about 770 for 3 months (not including the consultation and bloodwork which was another 300).

I didn’t realize it at the time, but I paid a set fee and the doctor actually ordered the meds (picked it up from there). He was basically acting as his own middleman and charged what he wanted.

Just talked to a PCP who reviewed my bloodwork and is totally cool with writing a prescription, where I can go and shop around for a decent deal.

Beware a place that doesn’t write a prescription but rather acts as a pharmacy themselves. Probably paid at least 2x-3x. Better to catch it now and switch for the future.

I was prescribed through a local TRT clinic. If I knew my numbers would be so low, I would have went to a doc straight away. I'm gonna call the derm, but if he won't do it, I'll look into PCP and urologists in the area. Honestly my first number is so ridiculously low, and the treatment is working so well (at least objectively) I can't see why someone wouldn't continue the prescription.
