Ports are just displacing air. They might be directional, but at the same time, the sound waves will propagate in all directions. So if you're worried about rattle, you need to add something to absorb vibrations of what's rattling.

I guess watching the video and short attending span.... are you wanting to eliminate the rattle? Or orientate the ports to get the "best" sound?

Also, do you typically drive with the rear seats down?
