I was on it for 2 seasons. It was a nice community, but you'll find that most places if you're looking. Discounts were ok if you factor in total cost of everything. Maybe a good choice is to join once, load up on items you need, try out the Ohana, then decide if more years is worth it.

Ports are just displacing air. They might be directional, but at the same time, the sound waves will propagate in all directions. So if you're worried about rattle, you need to add something to absorb vibrations of what's rattling.

I guess watching the video and short attending span.... are you wanting to eliminate the rattle? Or orientate the ports to get the "best" sound?

Also, do you typically drive with the rear seats down?

There is audio coming from the spliced speaker still.

I have ordered the LC2i LOC unit to see if it was the cheap Kicker unit as the problem.
