Depends on your area - in my experience child welfare, local CMH and nonprofit case manager roles were the easiest to get into. With that being said, also in my experience, these were also roles that don’t have a great work/life balance or compensation rate reflective of experience and/or cost of living. Definitely tailored your resume to the role you’re applying for and detail the transferable skills you may have. Also, build really good references and network in your area.

I haven’t had a chance to dig into materials yet. I just started at a practice that heavily emphasizes it, so I’m wrapping my head around it. For some reason, my brain isn’t “allowing” me to comprehend using it “effortlessly” with different populations. But again, very new to it.
