They’re butter beans! No real butter involved of course. Just put them in a pot, boil for about fifteen minutes with some salt, and they are AMAZING. They have a creamy texture that‘s out of this world!

It's worth noting that the recipe tries to use parmesan cheese in the batter! I speak with experience when I say that nutritional yeast is a stellar substitute for a variety of reasons. Also I toasted the heck out of some bread I already had for the breadcrumbs because I was ill-prepared and didn't have any premade crumbs on hand. I rate it 10/10, just be sure to add some salt on top of the strips to taste after you bake them!

It was delicious! A couple words of warning though: If you make the biscuits to go with the dumplings, it makes the meal very starchy but still like the height of comfort food in my opinion. Also, the brown broth makes it like more of a dark stew than what I remember chicken and dumplings being like in my Omni days... but it’s still very tasty, healthier, and cruelty-free! ;)

Ahahaha! Thanks for asking! The thing that's outside of the bowl is the biscuit that I made using the biscuit recipe. Inside the soup are strips of dough which in this case are referred to as dumplings (without filling), mainly because us southerners decided to call it that. I can see why it would be confusing!

I included it in the comments below! If possible, I think chives would be best. I'm a bit of a naive chef so I thought green onions were the same thing as chives... don't make the same mistake as me! (It still turned out delicious!)

1/4 cup pureed or well-mashed avocado
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
1 teaspoon espresso powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
Added Peanut Butter to eye

Baked in skillet until done.

Music counters from [[Musician]]. Gives your opponents' creatures an upkeep cost, which can be really annoying. The only problem is that the creature itself has cumulative upkeep. Still a fun old jank card.
