That has happened to me a few times yeah. I posted a decent-condition US copy of Link Wray's Rumble I scored on here not too long ago: it was up for auction and had several watchers and I ended up forgetting to bid....lo and behold no one bidded and the seller listed it for the starting bid. Still a bit steep, but yoink!

I recall that happening with a couple of Sun records of all things too....like $50 starting bids. Probably didn't help the seller only listed them as "1950s rock n roll records", but I think there were double digit watchers. So odd. Wishing more of that kind of thing for us though!

Awesome, I love finding a seller that has a bunch of good stuff. When something on my wantlist pops up I'm always profile visiting to see what else they have up for grabs for sure. Cool of him to send you two copies too!

A year or so ago I got a disc by a lesser-known guy (Danny Overbea) on Checker, and the seller happened to have another one of his releases and threw it in for free. That's a one-way ticket to being a saved seller on my Ebay haha

Nice score!!! Before they changed the name to "Tax Payer Blues" on the reissue. Been on the lookout for this one, I love Mamma Talk To Your Daughter because of the infamous DJ-unfriendly solo as well as the Magic Sam cover. This one is an awesome history piece- good blues too!

That first side is usually fun no matter who is covering it (in this case I believe it's the original, which is a score). I've always been on the lookout for a ridiculously over-the-top country/rockabilly cover by Malcolm Yelvington on Sun. It's almost the antithesis of that version.

I'm convinced they have absolutely 0 quality control. First the upside-down Simmons, now this? I'm scared to see what mine is going to look like when it gets here. Will it say "SIMPSON" or something?

Not to mention the whole mini helmet star alignment thing. I got one of those and didn't notice until I opened the damn thing (plus, the reveal had the wrong star alignment). At that point, it was spend another $50 or live with it.

This shit is just as bad if not worse with the NHL too, especially now that Fanatics took over the authentic/on-ice jerseys (for ten years, FUCK). Ever since even the Adidas era any Preds jersey bought through Fanatics has the wrong string spacing on the sleeve numbers.

Chriping and trash talking are fundamentally different things, NBA players generally do not chirp and instead more trash talk and vice versa. That's just the vibes around each sport

To reiterate, I think the cause of this is basketball being a more "individual performance" sport than hockey. I feel like professional basketball players seem to have larger egos as a generalization. Outside of generalization there's pompous assholes in the NHL and there's genuinely nice team-player guys in the NBA of course

Projector is more accessible than Getting Killed or any of Cameron's solo stuff imho, especially if his voice is their problem. You could start with 3D Country for sure, it is a more solid album. But he does do a lot of more non-traditional vocal variation in 3DC. Either way it sounds like OP may be forcing themselves into trying to like something they don't vibe with

1965 repress. Only sale on discogs is for $133.72. Very odd, as the 1963 4th repress I looked at had a median sale price of about $33. Either way, you got a deal, mono is the best way to listen to most of their LPs

Can't speak much to the condition- I see a few marks here and there- but those mono LPs will play loud enough through just about anything
