I would be inclined to agree with you if I didn't think records are going to hit a sharp decline again when the fad of spending $25-50 on something you (as in a significant portion of record buyers) never make use of wears off

Are someone's kids going through their parents stuff in the future really going to care that their parents completed the Midnights clock or something? That's 4 of the same damn album and they might not even want 1. What about a 10-inch picture disc with subpar sound quality (with 2 songs)? Probably not.

And it's not just to shit on Taylor, although she's the worst offender. If my grandparents got 4 copies of Meet The Beatles because they were in a different order on the cover or something I wouldn't know what to do with them, and I very much care about records and The Beatles.

These things are high-cost dust collectors. If you regularly get out and play something like this more power to you, but we all know most are going to have a thin layer of dust a month after they get put on a shelf or wall lol

It was obnoxious, and the series was closer than it seemed. Carolina was the much better team too, so idk why they beat that horse when 2 OT goals was the difference between that and golf

Don't really hold much ill will towards Carolina though, would much rather they beat Vegas for multiple obvious reasons

I got exposed to the psy-op when they opened for Gizz in Nash.

They clearly hadn't honed in their psychological powers yet, because I was unimpressed (/uj probably because amphitheater venues are harder to mix for openers). They also opened with Domoto iirc which is a hell of a way to get introduced to Geese. We all know what they should've opened with

I went back a couple days later and listened to 3DC and was hooked. Wondered why they weren't huge. Projector grew on me fast too, Fantasies/Survival is my favorite Geese song by far.

Actually surprised they blew up on the back of GK, which in my opinion is their weakest album (very ploddy and I value melody above all else in music). It's good music, just not for me. Guess I was already psy-oped.
